❤️ Monday Motivation Post ❤️
The Voice Under the Noise
When was the last time you listened to the real you?
Not the worried one, running worst case scenarios at 3am.
Not the anxious one, rehearsing conversations in the shower.
Not the guilt tripped one, saying “sorry” when you’ve done nothing wrong.
Not the tired, people pleasing one, smiling “I’m fine” when you’re not.
I mean the real you....
The authentic, raw, unfiltered you 💪❤️
The one who knows that mustard sofa feels like home, even if beige is “safer”...
The one who feels most alive with mud on your boots and wind in your hair, not perfect nails and perfect plans.
The one who built a safe home for their family.
The one who told someone 🖕 because boundaries were needed.
We spend so long listening to the noise.
The noise that says “what will they think?”
The noise that says “play it safe”.
The noise that says “be smaller, be quieter, be easier” - "don't be you"..... 😕
But under that noise… there’s a voice.
Quiet. Steady. True Voice 💙
It doesn’t shout. It doesn’t guilt you. It doesn’t panic. It doesn't fear....
It just knows....🫶
It knew the horse wasn’t settling before the limp showed.
It knew £9 kennels weren’t the answer, even when everyone else charged it.
It knew to do it anyway with trembling hands, a racing heart because it felt right...
That voice is you. Before the world told you who to be ❤️
So when was the last time you listened to her/ him?
Maybe today, when you choose the Highland cow cushion over what “matched”.
Maybe it was when you said “no concrete kennels, ever” even though it was harder.
Maybe it's putting boundaries in and telling people "no"...
Maybe it's an hour or even a whole day of self care - doing something for yourself...
Maybe it’s right now, hearing this, and feeling something settle in your chest ❤️
She’s still there. She hasn’t left.
She’s just been waiting for you to turn the noise down.
So turn it down.
Breathe.
Ask yourself what you need?
And when you answer… trust...!!!! ❤️
Because the real you?
She’s not broken. She’s not too much. She’s not behind.
She’s wise. She’s wild. She’s home. She's the safe person.
And she’s been waiting for you to come home to her.
Thank you... ❤️
Have a great Monday.
