It is with deepest regret that I have to announce that on the 30th June the doors of Barka Parka will close. Sadly, like many small businesses, due to government financial directives and the rise in cheap overseas imports we are struggling.

I have come to this decision - after four happy decades providing you and your four-legged family with what we believe is the best bean bed in the world and of course with much regret and in conjunction with the Coffman family.

The June date will allow you to take advantage of our planned closing sale by ordering additional beds, covers and bean refills. I will be offering a last chance sale of 35% off. Simply use the code GOODBYE at the checkout. The sale is on now and is available whilst stocks last. Please do support us.

There may be an opportunity for you to continue to purchase Barka Parka in the future but certainly for the foreseeable this is the end. I’ll post here if anything changes.

Has anyone heard of this charity? They provide short term foster placements for victims of abuse. Sometimes the pets in the homes are a key reason for not escaping a violent relationship and there may be concerns about leaving the pet behind. Have a look at their Instagram page, they are doing fantastic work - perhaps you may be able to be one of their fosters.
