📸 Professional pet portraits… for free? Yes, really.

We’ve upgraded our Open Day by teaming up with TMS Photography - Equine & Dog Photographer, so your dog can have a professional photo taken in our Doggy Photo Booth. 🐶✨

Your photo session is completely free, with optional donations to Harvey’s Army and Wonky Pets welcomed.

After the event, you’ll be able to view your photos in an online gallery and purchase your favourites if you’d like.

We’ve been lucky enough to have TMS Photography capture some of our team’s pets already… and just look at these photos! 😍

You’d never guess from that face that Poppy has been through such a major operation 💜

Poppy recently underwent surgery to remove an adenocarcinoma from her head, with a whopping 3cm margin taken around the tumour.

Her lab results have brought some fantastic news: the tumour was completely excised, the margins were clear, and the assessed risk of spread was very low. All signs point towards surgery having done exactly what we hoped it would.

We think she’s earned a few extra treats after that one 🐾

Reports are coming in of bears with:
🧸 floppy limbs
🧸 mysterious injuries
🧸 severe cuddle dependency

Thankfully, our Open Day teddy bandaging station will be ready to help.

Bring your own teddy along and our junior vets can learn how to apply a bandage to their fluffy patient 🩺🐾

Medical expertise not required.
Enthusiasm strongly encouraged.

Monkey and Grumio spent the day with us for their castrations as part of the Wonky Pets neutering scheme 🐾

The procedures went well, but recovery hit a small snag when Monkey decided that Grumio’s food looked much more appealing than his own.

To give Grumio a fair chance to eat, Monkey was temporarily placed in food-thief jail. 🚔😆

No meals were successfully stolen, although not for lack of trying. 💜

Ever wondered what dog physiotherapy actually involves? 👀🐶

As well as offering doggy massages at our open day, InStride Physiotherapy will be joining us to chat about mobility support, rehabilitation and helping dogs stay comfortable and active 💜

Whether your dog is a sporting superstar, a senior pet, or just shaped slightly like a baguette after too many snacks… physiotherapy can play a really important role 🐾

Plus there’ll be:

🎁 Free goodies for pets attending
🐾 Lots of activities for dogs and families

Nala has discovered one of the best seats in the practice 🛋️🐾

Dogs are always welcome to hop up and make themselves comfortable while they wait. A trip to the vets can be a little stressful, so anything that helps pets feel more relaxed gets our vote. After all, that’s why it’s called fur-niture 😆
