This month, we are looking back at what we have achieved during 2024. As part of our commitment to providing exceptional care to all of our patients, we are accredited by the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM) as a Cat-Friendly Clinic at the Silver Level. 🐱

In 2024, our ISFM advocates, RVNs Jade Lee and Sarah Snape, have worked hard to make sure we are re-accredited. This involves having a separate cat waiting room, using feline-friendly stress-free handling techniques, as well as creating a calming and comfortable cattery environment.

Why choose a cat sitter over a cattery?

🤍 A lot of cats find travelling really stressful and it may be overwhelming for them to be transported in the car to the cattery

🤍Our feline friends are creatures of habit, they like their routine and they can be really sensitive to change. A different environment that has unfamiliar smells and sounds can be really stressful for them

🤍 Some catteries will be unable to accept cats which are not fully vaccinated due to infection control reasons, however this doesn’t affect me so I can still take care of your cat regardless of vaccination status

🤍 Cat sitting provides security for your home by me visiting once or twice a day, turning lights on etc. This can give you peace of mind that your house is safe and secure whilst you are away

🤍 Relax on your holiday knowing your cat is being looked after by a Registered Veterinary Nurse in the comfort of their own home

Hi everyone

Some of you may have noticed the change in my business page name. I am now officially living in Burton and me and my 3 cats (Jessica, Wilfred and Beatrice) have settled in perfectly 🏠 🐈‍⬛

I am beginning to offer my cat sitting service again in Burton Upon Trent and surrounding areas. Including Barton under Needwood, Yoxall, Walton and Rosliston

I have limited availability due to still working full time as a Veterinary Nurse, but I will try fit clients in where I can 🩺

not want to go in their carrier at home but don’t want to leave it at the vet clinic?

🐈 Cats are territorial and feel safe at home. So, it’s no surprise that when the carrier comes out it creates a negative response because your cat associates it with leaving.

When you get to the vet clinic, the carrier is now the most familiar thing in an unfamiliar place and it gives them a place to hide from the new sights, sounds and smells.

🌟 Top tip🌟
Leave the carrier out somewhere quiet at home, with a comfy blanket inside, the door open and a few favourite treats and toys inside so they can choose to interact with it if they want to. Even just seeing the carrier every day will help form positive associations with it.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to post an update to say thank you so much for everyone’s patience, I know it’s taking me a while to get back to messages and enquires. I’m extremely busy at the moment as everyone’s away enjoying their much deserved holidays 🌞

I still work 12 hour days as a Veterinary Nurse which means I’m sadly unable to accept multiple clients as there’s just not enough hours in the day. The summer period gets booked up quickly and I have very limited availability for July, August and September

Thank you so much to my regular clients for repeat bookings and to new clients for choosing me. You’re all keeping me very busy but I wouldn’t have it any other way! 🐱

MISSING HOLBROOK ROAD AREA, BELPER

Missing since 8am Saturday morning which is out of character for her

Not wearing a collar, but is microchipped

She is a small, semi long haired female (spayed) and she is quite vocal

Very much loved pet and I just want her home. Please check your sheds incase she has snuck in there
