Today is the day!! Burntisland Civic Week Fun Dog Show: Paws on the Links 2026…
Here is all the info you need for today:
•We will be setting up the HGL Stall from about 12pm so if you want to grab a tasty treat and to sign up before the fun starts we will be ready from around 1pm.
•Judging will start around 2.15pm - you need to enter before hand to take part.
•Each entry is £2.00 and all proceeds go to Burntisland Civic Week.
•Classes you can enter are:
-Cutest Puppy (under 12months)
-Handsomest Boy
-Loveliest Lady
-Golden Oldie (over 7 years)
-Best Trick
-Best Rescue
-Best Dressed (owner & dog)…civic week theme 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
•Winner of each class will receive a prize and will be asked return for best in show judging which will start 3.45pm at 4pm(ish) we will announce Best in Show 2026.
•All ages and breeds are welcome but dogs must be kept on lead, under control and within the law at all times.

The Happy Go Lucky Dog Company will be returning to the Lang Toun Artisan Market this Saturday with their fantastic range of dog treats, chews, and accessories.

It’s our first time at Bowhouse and we couldn’t have picked a better weekend…it’s Open Farm Weekend which means there is even more to see and do in this amazing place!
So if you are not too tired, hungover or if you slept like a baby this is the place to be this Sunday (14th June)

It’s Burntisland Civic Week and it’s all about the window comp today…the brief? “Celebrating Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿”
At HGL we always like to link back to who we are so why not celebrate Scotland from within our very own shop!
Can you spot our Tartan Collars and Leads, our delicious Haggis Sausages, Tartan Enrichment Toys or Scottish Salmon Dog Food for even more fun our Doggy Kilts?

We were fortunate to win last year so can we make it 2 in a row?…we doubt it as there is some really fantastic displays and some stiff competition this year.

This weekend is all about farms & farmers for Open Farm Weekend 2026! We're excited to visit TWO beautiful farm locations with our stall for markets. You can find us at The Market at Solsgirth Home Farm on Saturday and at Bowhouse on Sunday!
