The Happy Go Lucky Dog Company, HGL for short, ethos is an active dog is a Happy Go Lucky Dog and HGL strive to get people moving more with their four legged friends. We travel the UK with our trade stands attending all different manner of events and opened our shop on Burntisland High Street in 2018. We have been incredibly fortunate to have been voted Best Independent Pet Supplies Store of the Y

ear 2019 at the Scottish Independent Retail Awards and Scotland’s Best Family Pet Business 2020 at The Scottish Pet Industry Awards. At HGL supply the very best equipment to the working, showing and pet dog markets and sell everything from Footbikes all the way through to collars, leads, harnesses, treats, beds, Canicross, Mushing, Flyball and Agility Equipment. We are official suppliers of world leading sled dog equipment manufacturers Manmat, Zero DC and Kostka Footbikes. We also stock Freckles Designs, Dorwest Herbs, Doggy Style, Icy Paws, Leucillin, Handmade by FiFi, Hooner, Trailbaby and Ruff Raggies. At HGL we always strive to bring a bespoke, friendly, face to face service with our customers as to us they are part of the wider HGL family. We enjoy meeting 1000’s of dogs and their owners and making sure each go away with a skip in their step and an extra wag in their tail. The Happy Go Lucky Dog Company is more than just a business it’s our way of life.

We weren’t sure if she would make it but our stubborn old lady continues to prove us all wrong!

Although we’d love to get you guys back into the shop for a wander around that is just not possible as we are just too small to be able to follow social distancing rules. So to keep us all safe we are asking/reminding you that one customer enters the shop entrance area at a time. If there is someone already being served please adhere to social distancing and stay 2 metres apart whilst queuing.
