Two new dogs are joining me for afternoon adventures - Nora (young Lab) and Snow (Shepherd Husky mix). Very well behaved and trained dogs, who are really chilled out. Have to keep them on a lead to start with, though you can see Nora wants to play and creates chaos tangling up the leads!

Wow it's been a busy week, and tonight I enjoyed taking part in an introductory online Reactivity Reset training from Will Atherton Academy. He makes his points clearly and concisely. Like in his you tube videos he places relationship high in his approach. It's been shown that dogs display the same attachment development as young children do, so it makes sense to me that a positive healthy attachment is the same motivation for dogs' good behaviour as it is for children. (A child seeks to be good because of their strong relationship with parents). Here are a few screenshots from the beginning of his talk.
