Im not a judgmental person at all, but you will be judged if you have ANY type of dog out walking today in peak 25 degree heat regardless of breed and size… and I won’t be the only one 👀

Don’t get me started on brachycephalic breeds.
Just don’t do it.

From one dog owner to another. You are abusing your dog and neglecting their needs if you are keeping them out in this heat for any prolonged period of time.

Tough love rant over. 🙈

It genuinely breaks my heart seeing the number of dogs out in the city centre or at the beach and at shows at 1pm in 24°C heat while their owners enjoy the day.

Dogs can die from heatstroke. It really is that simple.

And please stop with the excuses... "They need a walk, we'll only be out for 20 minutes."

As a dog walker, I never seem to bump into these same owners when it's pouring with rain on a November afternoon? 👀

If it's too wet for you then your dog can miss a walk. If it's too hot for them, they should miss a walk.

A missed walk or a quick garden visit substitute won't kill your dog.

Heatstroke might though.

A bit of an emotional one tonight! 🥹🐾

Since January, I’ve been looking after Mylo and Hugo every Saturday night, and today is my last routine visit with them. ❤️

It’s been so lovely spending time with sweet Mylo and watching Hugo grow from a tiny puppy into the big boy he is now! 🐶 Watching Hugo mature and seeing the bond between him and Mylo grow stronger over the last five months has been such a privilege. 🥰

I’ll definitely miss my weekly visits with these two special boys. ❤️ I’ve also been so lucky to have the most lovely clients whilst I’ve been here, so thoughtful and caring! they’re honestly amazing and have been an absolute pleasure to work with. 🥹❤️

It’s not goodbye forever, as I’ll still be doing the occasional ad hoc visit, but it still feels a little emotional saying goodbye to our Saturday night routine! 🙈🐾

Wee bit of sad news today, our wee dwarf hamster that is regularly featured on our page known as Hammy (or ham ham x) has passed away 🙏😔 after syringe feeding and pain relief he just didn’t get better, but his 18months with us was a blast and made us fall in love with Dwarf hamsters and their nature x ❤️

Burrito time for our bunny clients 🐰✂️💅

Hey everyone 🤍
I’ve had loads of lovely enquiries recently (so grateful 🐾) and with personal circumstances + juggling other work, I’m looking for someone to join my dog walking team and help take on some clients through my business.
I’m absolutely not stepping away. I love what I do! I’d just really appreciate having the right person alongside me. This isn’t a decision I take lightly, so there will be a wee interview process to make sure we’re a good fit, as my clients and their furry babies always come first 🥰

📍 Burntisland / Kirkcaldy
Ideally you’d be:
• 20 years old or over
• Happy doing dog walks & taking bookings through my business. Individual walks + group walks.
• Open to walking dogs with past trauma and need extra accommodations.
• A driver (preferred) to get to clients’ homes (no dogs in cars)
• Insured under my business name
• Open to doing a training course (provided)
