I’ve been asked to create something new to me.
A one-on-one, foraging experience as a birthday gift. So here we are, trying something new and exciting!

Imagine spending an afternoon immersed in nature, exploring wild plants, trees, and mushrooms, while learning about our deep connection to the natural world. We’ll forage together and transform our discoveries into a nourishing tea, brewed over a stove in the heart of the wild. Along the way, the lucky recipient will receive handcrafted gifts, made from these foraged treasures, like a soothing balm, a restorative tincture, or whatever best suits their personal needs.

This is more than just a present, it’s a deeply personal, hands-on adventure, designed to reconnect us with nature in a beautiful, fun, and meaningful way.

And it’s not just for one! Whether it’s a one-on-one experience or a private group booking for friends and family, this wild adventure can be tailored to your wishes. Perfect for birthdays, celebrations, or simply to gift someone a unique, unforgettable experience. I’ll work closely with you to craft the perfect day, customised to your loved one’s desires and within your budget

😍😍😍Another great review from Bradford Kings Trust , who have been coming for a few years now

Fantastic place with stunning views, amazing staff and so much more...
I book here to take young people I work with on residentials and i have used Coldwell now for many years, 3 times a year.
This accommodation itself is such a safe and secure site the staff are so friendly, welcoming and make an effort to ensure its guests are happy and made to feel welcome. With working with young people , sometimes these young people are guarded around new adults , the staff make the young people feel so comfortable and welcomed. The staff go above and beyond and i couldn't sing their praises enough!

The rooms are perfect for sharing or having your own room and its always cleaned to a high standard upon our arrival. There is an outdoor exercise part , table tennis and air hockey area, pool room and an activity room where you can borrow equipment from Coldwell. The space throughout the house is ideal whether you are doing group games and activities or your having downtime to relax and read with the stunning views in the background.

I truly cant recommend this place enough and of course ill be returning. If your looking for a top-tier residential experience, look no further! 😍😍😍

Did you know?

We are mindful of period poverty with many of our youths being from disadvantage areas.

😍😍141 4.8 star google reviews. Thanks to Sarah for her fab review , who has stayed in February and August. Showing that Coldwell is great no matter what time of year 😍😍

I have booked Coldwell for gatherings with up to 11 other families multiple times. Coldwell has everything we need and great facilities to keep the kids entertained. From playing pool, to table football and a separate games room with air hockey and table tennis, and the kids also love the outdoor gym! The kitchen is very well equipped and the dining room is superb for us all to get together. The private woods is an added bonus - we’ve spent time building dens and playing games. There are also beautiful local walks surrounding the house, so no need to drive anywhere. Would definitely recommend for large group get togethers! 😍😍

We have been chasing up reviews. Another fab one from Angie and family who have stayed here twice in the month of May :) :)

We have held two 38 people family gathering at Coldwell over the last 3 years and i cannot recommend this beautiful place highly enough.
The facilities are excellent and can certainly accommodate all of our wonderful family whose ages ranged from 3 to 83.
The kitchen is industrial with everything you could wish for and certainly made our cooking experience very easy. The superb dining room overlooking the reservoir is airy, and allows us all to sit together. We even had quizzes in there on an evening. From Snooker, table football, table tennis, and board games we had so much to entertain ourselves with on an evening. The numerous walks from Coldwell, many leading to a pub were excellent and easy enough for all the age range.
We have booked our third gathering already and cannot wait to see our beautiful family congregate there again.

The staff at Coldwell are extremely friendly and will go the extra mile to help you out.
