💙 Our Beautiful Ash is Looking for His Forever Home 💙

It is with deep sadness and a completely broken heart that we have made the decision to look for a new forever home for our beautiful Disney, our beautiful boy, Ash.

As many of you know, we have worked tirelessly to build and maintain the relationship between Ash and Shelby. We have explored every option available to us and have given everything we have to make things work. Sadly, we have reached the difficult conclusion that this is no longer viable, and the kindest thing we can do for Ash is to find a home where he can truly thrive.

Ash is currently staying with a trusted friend as a foster, and Paw Prints to Freedom have been made aware that we need to find him a new home. Any applications or expressions of interest will need to go through Paw Prints to Freedom and their rehoming process.

A little bit about our amazing Ash...

At home, Ash is calm, gentle and incredibly affectionate. He is not destructive, rarely barks, and is often happiest stretched out on a cool floor having a snooze. He has the occasional burst of excitement where he'll zoom around and have a little mad moment, but he's generally a very relaxed boy.

He absolutely loves affection. Ear scratches, back rubs, cuddles and fuss are among his favourite things. He is easy to groom, loves being brushed and is wonderfully accepting of being handled.

Ash is also fully crate trained and absolutely loves his crate. It is his safe space, and he happily sleeps there at night. During the day you'll often find him wandering in and out of his crate of his own accord, just to relax, chill out and have some quiet time. His crate has always been a place where he feels secure and settled.

Ash's dream home would be somewhere quieter, preferably with a large secure garden in the countryside, a village location, or near the coast. He absolutely loves the beach, rolling in the grass, getting muddy and exploring the great outdoors.

What Ash doesn't enjoy are busy streets, lots of people, children, scooters, bikes, buggies and loud or unpredictable environments. We have done a huge amount of work helping him with these anxieties, including taking him to sit and observe the world from a safe distance so that he can gradually build confidence. Any new owner will need to continue this work and be committed to helping him overcome his fears at his own pace.

Ash is also currently receiving training to improve his lead walking. He can be strong and enthusiastic on lead as he's a big boy, so his new family should be prepared to continue with his training and guidance.

Whilst in foster, Ash is living successfully with a calm older female dog and a cat, and he is settling in really well.

We believe Ash's ideal home would be with a single person or a couple, without children in the home, who can give him the time, patience, love and understanding that he deserves.

This decision has absolutely devastated us. We love Ash more than words can say, which is exactly why we have to put his needs first. He deserves a home where he can feel safe, happy and secure for the rest of his life. Ash is 14 months old

Please help us find our beautiful Ashlet the forever home he deserves by sharing this post far and wide. 🐾💙

Edit- I just wanted to say a huge thank you , customers, and friends for all the love and support following the loss of our beautiful Molly who we lost last Wednesday.
We have been truly overwhelmed by the warmth we’ve received — the cards, flowers, plants, visits, and the heartfelt messages have meant more to us than we can express.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for surrounding us with so much kindness during such a difficult time.
With love,
Lisa & Mike

I know some of you have requested appointments and i will get back to you but just bear with me while i process the loss of my beautiful girl.

On weds we had to say goodbye to our princess Molly . She was the kindest, gentlest soul I’ve ever known—pure love from the moment she trusted us enough to let us in.
She came to us at just 18 months old, completely broken, frightened, unsure of the world. And somehow, through all that pain, she grew into the most loving girl, our best girl.

Run free now, Molly. You’re with Jax and Dexter—my trio together again. I hope you found them the moment you crossed over. . And I hope you know how deeply you were loved, every single day. 🌈
