Is your horse really getting enough hay? 🐴🌾

It sounds simple, but getting the math right is crucial for your horse's health. As a rule of thumb, horses need at least 1.5% to 2% of their body weight in forage every single day.

Scale it up: For a 500kg horse, that means aiming for 9 to 10kg of hay daily.

Falling short can lead to some serious issues, including:

⚠️ Gut problems & ulcers
⚠️ Weight loss
⚠️ A very grumpy horse!

If your horse devours their ration too quickly, try using a slow-feed hay net to make the forage last longer without cutting down their intake.
