Today’s grooming client Bailey was an absolute superstar! ❤️

This lovely dog recently had an eye removed and is recovering incredibly well. While it’s always an adjustment after surgery, dogs are amazingly resilient and adapt so much better than we often expect.

Despite everything he’s been through, this brave pup was happy, relaxed, and enjoyed being pampered. It was wonderful to see him looking so bright and comfortable.

A reminder that our dogs don’t let challenges define them—they just keep living life with their tails wagging. 🐾

Wishing this beautiful dog continued healing and many happy adventures ahead. ❤️🐶

Hi everyone,

I wanted to let you all know that I will be having a major operation on 31st July and will unfortunately need to take some time away from work to recover. My expected recovery time is around 6 weeks, although this may change depending on how recovery goes.

I will be contacting all clients from next week who already have appointments booked in during this period.

🐶 Why ear plucking matters for some dogs

As a professional dog groomer, one topic that sometimes comes up is ear plucking. I completely understand that some owners feel unsure about it, so I’d like to explain why it can be important for certain breeds.

Some dogs grow thick hair inside their ear canals. When this hair builds up, it can trap moisture, wax, and dirt This creates the perfect environment for bacteria and yeast, which can lead to uncomfortable ear infections and can also cause matting in the ear.

✔️ Plucking the excess hair helps:• Improve airflow inside the ear• Reduce moisture build-up• Prevent wax and dirt from getting trapped• Lower the risk of painful infections

When done gently and correctly by a trained groomer, ear plucking removes only the loose hair that would otherwise clog the ear canal. It’s always done with the dog’s comfort and wellbeing in mind.

Every dog is different. Some dogs need regular ear plucking, while others don’t grow enough hair for it to be necessary. As groomers, our goal is always to maintain healthy ears and prevent problems before they start.

🐾 Important Update – Price Adjustment from 1st April 🐾

To all my wonderful clients,

Firstly, I just want to say a huge thank you for your continued support, loyalty, and trust in me to care for your dogs. I truly love what I do, and I’m so grateful for each and every one of you.

From 1st April, there will be a small price increase on my grooming services.

This decision hasn’t been made lightly. I always strive to keep my prices as affordable and fair as possible, and many of you will know that compared to other local groomers, my prices have remained very competitive. In fact, many salons are now charging significantly more for similar services.

With my ongoing training, years of hands-on experience, high-quality products, equipment maintenance, and the time and care I put into every single groom, I need to adjust my pricing to reflect the level of skill, safety, and service I provide.

My commitment remains exactly the same:

✨ High grooming standards

✨ A calm and caring environment

✨ Your dog’s comfort and wellbeing always coming first
