Well ‘Rolo’ has landed at Poppies, always said I’d love a poodle when I was a fair bit younger, however here we are it’s been a few years since a baby pup joined our family and we love him to bits already!
Auntie Viva is exhausted keeping an eye on him and he must be washed frequently of course and there is always lovely puppy goodies in the mix so she’s right there!💙🤣❤️ x

Catch up at Poppies…….Luna the Bichon came for her trial sleepover, settled straight in and loved the company❤️
Raya, Golden Cocker came for her first stay, quite a confident little girl who integrated and settled well.
Our little Alley chihuahua was back, since losing our little chi’s she is wonderful therapy with a beautiful disposition🩷
Finally we have Marlo, C Poo Chon who adores our GSD Viva, photo shows him retrieving his toy from behind her…….. she is so patient and kind and they are great playmates!💙

Some of our regulars have been back staying at Poppies over the last few weeks.
Wellies out again😅 (they’ve not been put away yet) and we’ve had enjoyable walks albeit wet and windy ones!
I had my Poppies licence renewal inspection in September and was delighted to achieve five stars⭐️

It’s been a strange few weeks at Poppies and I’m so grateful to my lovely clients and their dogs who’ve all rallied when we hit a bit of a crisis!
I suffered a heart attack on Monday 12th August during our very busy time with holiday boarders which certainly wasn’t on my agenda!
My dear husband Frank stepped up whilst I was in hospital and with clients help we got through.
So thank you so much for the lovely get well wishes and flowers and chocs from all the dogs!🥰

We’ve been busy at Poppies over the last few weeks.
Rufus back and Raya (golden cocker) came for her trial sleepover as did Alley (chihuahua).
Both as happy as can be, settled well and now returning when their families are away💙🩷💙
