Another fun week. Bit drizzly but who cares as long as it’s warm! Doing a charity walk with Rose this weekend. For anyone that doesn’t know Rose she’s 13 had a kidney transplant and is blind. I worked with her before I started dog walking. She’s raising some money for Chestnut Tree House in celebration of it being 10 years since she had her transplant. She has gone to Chestnut Tree House regularly in that time and they’re great. Link to just giving page below. Thanks. Xx

As anyone who has had a recent clear out will know, it's not always easy to recycle or reuse home furnishings! If your cushions are a bit tatty, it's hard to pass them on, and they aren't recyclable within textile recycling services!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Home furnishings account for a vast amount of items that go into landfill simply because most of them are too complicated to recycle - the UK discards over 20 million pieces of furniture a year and only a fraction of it is recycled. Used cushions usually have only one fate when you get rid of them, and that’s landfill. Fast interiors are arguably as big a problem as fast fashion!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
