The street dogs of Romania have horrible lives, everyday they have to fight to survive. Many people are out to kill the dogs as they see them as vermin, they are captured off the streets by 'dog catchers'. They are then taken to 'public shelters' where they are left to starve, these are the lucky ones. The others are poisoned, bludgeoned to death, injected with bleach - the horrifying list goes on

. THIS HAS TO STOP - it it not fair that these dogs have to suffer in this way. I fundraise to bring these dogs to the UK and to get them into homes where they will be part of the family and will be loved and safe, they have already suffered enough, they deserve a family to call their own. This gorgeous boy is 12 year old Mason, unfortunately he is looking for a new home as he really doesn’t like the families toddler and he is really unhappy now, the family have tried everything but feel that it’s not fair on him anymore, his owner is devastated so no negative comments please!
He is a miniature Dachshund , he’s up to date with his vaccinations , neutered and has regular health checks .
Because of his age he would rather have gentle walks and a nice garden to potter around in.
He would suit an older person or couple , he’s a really sweet boy thats very calm , loyal and affectionate. Children or grandchildren over 8 only , no cats or small furries .
Please send me a personal message if you think you can offer Mason a retirement home .

These 2 girls were found in a terrible state , very matted and smelly, obviously been seriously neglected, luckily Alina found them and has groomed them and they are now in foster where they will wait until they’re ready to travel to the uk.
They are approximately 1-2 years old.
They look a bit Cockerpoo to me .
I have named them Sharon and Tracy .

On Sunday I released a female pheasant that I have had for probably a year , she was a tiny chick when she was brought to me, a cat had got hold of her, I wanted to release her last year but the weather was so terrible in winter and then of course it’s shooting season , she’d started laying eggs so it was definitely time for her to go and find a mate. This is hopefully a good spot for her cos there’s plenty of food around and wild pheasants visit too. 🤞

Ducklings are doing well this morning, they have chick crumb as well as the water, and I put some tiny crickets in the water as at this age they predominantly eat insects from the rivers or lakes . They also have a heat pad underneath a teddy bear which they snuggle under like they would their mother.

And then there were 2!!Someone called me to say that they found a duckling in a box in the park!!I’m hoping once ducking...

I’m hoping once ducking number 2 warms up he’ll be ok cos he’s not looking great at the moment, these 2 aren’t related cos they were found in totally different areas.
This is a difficult time for ducklings cos the mothers hatch them away from water and other ducks and then walk them to a pond or lake that they know , but this trip can be fraught with danger because they may have to cross roads that maybe weren’t there previously because we are building on so much land now that our wildlife are being misplaced, these ducklings only have 12 hours before they start to die of hunger as ponds / rivers are going to have the food in that they need to survive .

I have the begging bowl out again I’m afraid.
This poor stray was attacked by some other dogs in Romania , unfortunately his leg was so badly injured that it had to be amputated.
This man is called Radu he doesn’t have the funds to pay the vets bill , I have brought dogs over from him in the past so I know he’s genuine, if I can get enough donations I would like to split it 3 ways between him, Cristina and Alina , they all struggle financially to care for the dogs that they save and all 3 also feed the strays on the streets . If anyone can spare a couple of quid we would all be very grateful, especially the dogs!!
