A Big Thank you to Tony and Hilary Monkcom along with everyone else who worked so hard in putting on an amazing South of England Alpaca Halter Show with over 180 entries, attended by breeders from all over the country.
Also a big thankyou to the shows judge Mr Nick Harrington Smith and of course everyone who has made a mammoth effort over the years in helping to make this show what it is today and with this in mind it was lovely to see the Llama Liz at the show, the lady who started the show well over 20 years ago.
A Big congratulations to Spring Farm Alpacas on Supreme Suri and Acton Hill on Supreme Huacaya.

On Tuesday we took 3 special grey boys to their new home with Sarah in Yorkshire.
Running Cloud, Slate Sky and Outlaw.
It was quite a journey but it was great to see the boys settle into their new home so quickly. I think the luxury shelter and plenty of lush Yorkshire grass had a lot to do with it.

We decided to hand shear Nelson ourselves this year, at 17 years old he needs to keep a bit more fleece on to get him through the winter.
Despite his dodgy hips he is still enjoying life. Here he is baby sitting our grandchildren last week.
