So important to remember that nothing is in isolation. Every part works together and an issue in one area can cause compensation issues in others.

🐎⚖️ Limb or Foot Problems? Your Horse Might Need Massage Too (Really hard ground at the moment in the UK)!

When there’s pain or imbalance in the feet or limbs, the horse’s body compensates, and that compensation creates tension elsewhere.

🔁 What happens?
Sore feet → altered posture.

Uneven weight-bearing → muscle imbalances.

Subtle lameness → tight shoulders, back, or hindquarters

💥 Even after the original issue is treated, the compensatory tension remains, and that’s where massage plays a massive role in recovery and comfort.

👐 Massage helps restore balance, ease muscular strain, and support the body as it basically relearns to move correctly.

💡 Always look beyond the obvious. A sore foot often leads to a tight back.

Can anyone suggest a reliable farrier please!
I have been let down repeatedly by my original farrier, contacting numerous others who say oh yeah I may be able to come but never reply or commit or turn up. My horses are in desperate need and I don't know where else to turn!
