A gentle reminder to adapt routines during warmer weather ..cooler walk times, hydration, shaded rest areas and watching closely for signs of overheating can make all the difference.

Some recent welfare checks, drop-ins and walks for these lovely lot 🥰
Bailey, Cooper and of course Tickle the cat… my regulars who I absolutely adore.

I genuinely love getting to know each animal’s little personality no two are ever the same, and that’s what makes it so special 🤍

Whether it’s dog walks, home drop-ins, welfare checks, equine care or smallholding care… I treat every animal like they’re my own, making sure they feel safe, settled and cared for while you’re away.

I’ll be gradually cutting back on a few services over the coming weeks as I focus on building my new dog venture ready for summer (very exciting but lots to organise!), so I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who trusts me with their animals it really means the world 🥰

🐾 Parnacott Paws – New Idea I’d Love Your Thoughts On! 🐾

We was originally planning to open dog boarding here at Parnacott, but after lots of thinking I’m exploring a slightly different direction and I’d love to see if people would be interested.

The idea is to create a safe countryside dog social space on a private estate, where dogs and their owners can come and enjoy time together.

The plan would include things like:

• A large covered marquee space
• A secure fenced garden for dogs to socialise safely
• A comfortable sofa area where owners can relax and chat
• Cold drinks and pre-packed snacks available
• Coffee on request ☕
• A Natural Dog Treat Bar 🦴
• A photo corner for cute dog pictures 📸
• Private dog play hire sessions for owners who want the space to themselves or for reactive dogs
• Puppy parties
• And eventually even small dog shows 🐶🏆

The aim is to create a friendly countryside space where dogs can play safely while owners relax and socialise too.

Hopefully this will be up and running before the summer ☀️

Before I start putting everything together, I’d love to know if this is something people would actually use locally.

Today I had the absolute pleasure of caring for Beau the Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Molly the Cockapoo 🐾
With the help of my daughter who joined me today, we enjoyed a lovely walk, plenty of gentle cuddles, and then settling back into the comfort of home for calm, cosy snuggles 🤍

It’s such a privilege to be trusted with these wonderful dogs. I truly believe pets thrive when they feel safe, relaxed, and loved and every animal I care for is treated as if they were part of our own family.

Just a little update .
Post-operation recovery is moving in the right direction.
It’s slow, but every day I can feel myself healing a little more. Patience really is everything. Definitely helps to have Cinnamon cuddles. Very grateful to all the help I’ve had from loved ones too. 🤍✨
