We are always delighted to support the Shacks Barn and Buckingham Riding for the Disabled group. With both Kerry and Jennifer having had personal involvement with the RDA going back decades, it is a charity close to our hearts.

It would be great to see as many of you as possible at their Christmas fund raising event.

We have seen an unusual high number of horses with colic this summer.

There are many different reasons for your horse to develop colic, though we suspect this year’s spike in numbers is in part related to high worm burdens, which are a result of several years of warm winters.

This is a pattern we have seen in horses of all ages and levels of competition, including horses that are regularly wormed or that have regular worm egg counts performed.

Prevention is always better than cure!
