Nomi is working hard here to maintain her indication despite crunching bottle noises and with a brand new handler (Calum has never trained her before).

This is so important for her as it’ll produce some real resilience in these new behaviours. The next week for us is going to be all about generalising and proofing!

She LOVES her training is capable of learning so much if you give her the time to.

In my experience, most dogs don’t really know their core commands (to be fair I never even taught my chihuahua a sit, she has a very well-proofed down only!)

I’m always trying to get my clients to focus on making these basics super solid instead of teaching a new trick.
