The purpose of the Charity is to rescue, care for and re-home abandoned dogs, or dogs who's owners sadly are no longer able to care for them. At Jerry Green Dog Rescue, we use social media to keep you, our 'pawsome s

upporters', up to date with our work and opportunities to get involved. It's also a place for people to share experiences if they wish, and to start wider conversations about dogs, and their welfare. Today is a very special day… it’s Harper’s 8th birthday! 🎂💚

This beautiful girl is going to be spoilt rotten by her wonderful foster family today, but there’s one thing she’d really love as her birthday present - a forever home.

Harper is a gentle, loving and wonderfully well-mannered girl who is happiest enjoying the simple things in life. A cosy sofa, a fuss from her favourite people, a nice walk to explore the world and, of course, plenty of time spent by your side. 🥰

She’s looking for a relatively quiet home where she can continue building her confidence around other dogs. Harper would like to be the only pet, with children aged 11+, a secure garden and a family who can give her plenty of companionship and understanding while she settles in.

She really is such a special girl, and we’d love nothing more than for her birthday wish to come true - and to see Harper spending her 9th birthday in a home of her own. 🐶

New month, new adventures! 🍂🐾

September is the perfect time to switch up your usual dog walk and give your four-legged friend somewhere new to explore.

Whether you're looking to practice training, enjoy some one-on-one time or simply give your dog a chance to let off some steam, our paddocks are ready for your next visit. 🐶

Available to hire at our centres in Broughton, Algarkirk and Blidworth, with agility equipment also available at our South Lincolnshire centre.

Hello friends, Maple here! I'm a 2-year-old Lurcher Cross looking for a special forever home of my own. 💚

I’m a sweet and sensitive girl, so I can take a little time to get to know new people. But once I’ve decided you’re my friend, you’ll get to see my affectionate side, and I’ll happily curl up beside you on the sofa for a cosy snooze.

I’m also a big fan of having fun! I love my exercise, zooming around the garden and playing with my favourite toys. One of my favourite games is throwing my toys up in the air and trying to catch them! So, a secure garden where I can safely stretch my legs and entertain myself is a must for me. 🐾

Because I can be a little anxious around new people, I’m looking for a quiet, calm home with minimal visitors and someone around for most of the day. I could live with children aged 14+ and potentially another dog of a similar size, following a successful introduction. 🐶

Kaia, a beautiful German Shepherd Cross, arrived at Jerry Green Dog Rescue when her previous owner could no longer offer her the care she needed.

After having her world turned upside down, the team knew Kaia needed someone who would give her time, understanding and encouragement to settle into her new life – and Sharon was that person. 💚

The first few months came with their challenges, but Sharon never gave up. Now, one year on, the transformation has been incredible.

Kaia and Sharon recently returned from a holiday where Kaia even joined in playing with other dogs – something Sharon never imagined possible when she first brought her home.

Now happily settled into her forever home, Sharon recently got in touch to share:

“Kaia is healthy, happy and makes everyone who meets her laugh and smile. Now she’s relaxed, her progress is just amazing. And I just know there is more to come. I’m more determined than ever to give this dog a long and happy retirement.”

We couldn’t be happier to see just how far Kaia has come. 🌟

Thank you to Sharon for giving Kaia the time and patience she needed to blossom – and here’s to many more years of adventures and happiness together! 🐶🐾

Hello! We're Oakley, Moss, Cedar and Brooke, four very special Border Collies looking for our forever home. 💚

We're 6-months-old, and while our personalities might each be a little different, we’re all loving, intelligent and sensitive dogs with so much potential. We haven’t had the easiest start in life, so we’re still learning about things like walking on a lead, new places, and all the everyday experiences that come with being a dog. 🐾

We need patient, understanding and genuinely Border Collie-savvy families who will let us experience the world at our own pace. We’re affectionate youngsters who love being close to our people and getting plenty of reassurance when things feel a little uncertain.

As our confidence grows, we’ll need families who enjoy training, learning and giving us plenty of appropriate mental stimulation, so a secure garden for each of us is also a must. Our time home alone will need to be built up gradually, and we may also be able to live with another suitable dog following a successful introductions. 🤠

Hey friends, I'm Bullseye Bill! 🤠

I'm a 1-year-old Heeler Cross looking for my very own forever home.

As you can see, I'm a very handsome boy, but I also have a sharp mind that's always ready to learn. I already know a few tricks and would love to continue my training with an experienced and strong owner who understands larger breeds like me. 🐾

I'm a country boy at heart, so I'd prefer a rural home with no neighbouring dogs as this can be challenging for me. But don't worry, I'm a fantastic traveller so adventures to quieter areas will be no problem. A secure garden where I can play safely with my favourite squeaky toys would make me really happy too.

I'll need to be the only pet in an adult-only home, and with patience and gradual routine, there's the possibility I can be left for up to 4 hours. I'm a clever boy with lots of potential, and with the right person, I know I'll make a fantastic companion. 💚

Hi everyone, Gwen and Della here! 🐶

We’re two special girls looking for a forever home together, where we can continue our journey side by side and discover what life as happy dogs is all about.

I’m Gwen, and I’m around 1 years old. I can be a little worried about new people and situations, so I need plenty of time and patience to feel comfortable. But once I know you’re my friend, I become the biggest cuddle bug! Then there’s Della, my 9-year-old best friend. She’s our happy-go-lucky girl who adores people, fusses and attention. 🐾

We’ve come from a complex background and haven’t had much opportunity to experience life as normal dogs, so we’re looking for a quiet home with patient people who will let us learn and settle at our own pace. We’ll need help with all the basics, including lead walking and building up time on our own gradually. 🐾

We can live with children aged 14+ and may be able to live with other dogs, cats or small furries following successful introductions. A secure garden would be perfect for us too. All we need is someone special who will give us the time and understanding we deserve, could that be you? 💚
