Is held on 27th Oct each year.
This was started by Cats protection in 2011 to help celebrate the majesty of monochrome moggies and beautiful black cats 🐈‍⬛ .
When the campaign was launched, statistics revealed that black and black & white cats took on average seven days longer to find a home compared to cats of other colours.
Thankfully since the campaign was launched statistics show this time has been reduced.
Personally I love black cats, they have their own unique characteristics & personalities 😻
I share with you some pics of my two living their best lives plus a few pics of some gorgeous moggies we have looked after 🐈‍⬛😻
