Noodle's dog park is ideal for dogs who can't be let off lead in public places. Maybe your dog doesn't like meeting other dogs, or doesn't have great recall skills, or perhaps you've got a puppy or a dog that needs to work on training in an enclosed environment. I feel like I've just packed summer away! 😟 With the incoming storms that are forecast, I decided it was time to pack away the sun shelters. They've lasted so well and just about coped with being jumped all over and the severe heat of the summer but I think the heavy rain that's due would probably have finished them off! The paddling pools are temporarily out of the field until the risk of thunder and lightning has passed.
Hopefully, the rain will help the grass grow again before the winter! 🌧😁🐾

💖UPDATE. After playing detective and emailing/ringing everyone who has visited Noodle's since last Thursday, the owner of the phone has finally been found. 🎉🥳😁🐾

I've checked, checked again and then checked some more but it would appear that the highest temperature here over the weekend will be 23°😁👏🤞I've released all booking time slots for Saturday and Sunday. 😁🥳🎉

The sun shades/shelters are up and if I can find the plug, the paddling pool may be making an appearance! So much for putting it in a safe place! 🤪🙈🤣

Please be mindful that it will still be warm so only book if your dog is happy being outside in 23° heat and please keep ball throwing to a minimum. 😁

💖 Quick reminder. 😁

Noodle's is a no smoking site. At the moment, this is more important than ever. We are surrounded by very dry crop fields due to the heat and lack of rain. By some miracle, the park is still mostly green but it's starting to go brown in places. It's very rare that I find discarded cigarette ends in there but to those who occasionally leave them, please don't! It wouldn't take much to set everything on fire under current conditions.
Hopefully we'll be back to normal opening hours very soon. Stay cool and safe. 🥰🐾🥵🌞

Training. 😁 Something a little different for me.
This morning, I started working with my sister and her beautiful dog Ozzy. 🥰 Ozzy is quite fearful of the world around him, which can make him very anxious and reactive when out and about. We got up early and went to one of the local retail parks, where i knew it would be quiet. We worked on helping Ozzy to watch the world go by calmly, focus on his human and settling outside a cafè. Helen and Ozzy did amazingly well for their first session. 👏👏🎉🐾

Owning a dog park is........

💖 Closing during a heatwave because the safety of dogs and their humans is more important than profit.
💖 Constantly thinking of new ways to keep dogs happy and enriched.
💖 Emotional. When I hear that your beloved dogs have passed over the rainbow bridge, I feel your sadness too.
💖 Hard work! No matter what the weather is doing, I'm in the field morning and night, making sure that everything is clean and safe.
💖Sociable. Lots of enquiries, emails, messages, phone calls. It's great to talk. 😁
💖Sometimes difficult. I have to keep going, even when life might be throwing the odd curve ball at me! Dogs still need their exercise and freedom.
💖 Most of all..... It's a privilege and an honour to be able to share this wonderful piece of heaven with you. Thank you for choosing Noodle's. 🥰🐾
