Hillfields Animal Sanctuary Hillfields Animal Sanctuary was founded over 40 years ago. Animals that come to us, live out their days here, free from fear of further neglect or cruelty.

It started in a small way with a few waifs and strays, ranging from pets to farm animals. The number of animals at Hillfields has steadily increased and we are now home to a staggering 300 animals, consisting of horses, goats, pigs, sheep, chickens, dogs

, cats, ducks, birds and many, many more including a 28 year old cow! The animals at Hillfields have all been rescued from cruelty and neglect or taken in when their owners simply did not want them anymore. Our sanctuary policy dictates that every animal that comes to us, lives out their days here, free from fear of further neglect or cruelty.

As like many sanctuaries Hillfields are in absolute desperate need for more hay for the animals. The fields are bare and the animals are relying on hay and food now. If anyone can donate to this cause it would help us so much. Anything big or small all helps buy hay. The animals are eating hay all day now to make up for loss of grass.

Small bales are £8-10 each.
Large bales are £50-70
Long square bales £100-150

We are also desperate to buy more molasses licks and salt licks for the animals also. And mineral blocks.

We have been offered some small good quality bales of hay of the field so we are trying raise as much money as possible to stock the barn for winter due to the dry spell we are using so much hay now thanks for supporting Lyn and all the animals.

Hillfields are in desperate need of hay. Does anyone know of any hay suppliers in the Bromsgrove / Redditch area who are able to supply us with good quality hay bales ( small bales ) if anyone knows of anyone could you please comment this post. We would be most grateful. Our current supplier has bird flu on his premises and we cannot risk having hay from there. Thanks
