16-year-old Leo from Bromsgrove has been diagnosed with leukaemia and needs a stem cell transplant so he can have a second chance at life.
As a reminder, Leoβs family have organised an event this Sunday (23rd November), where people can join the register.
This will take place between 1pm and 6pm at St Godwalds Church Hall on Finstall Road in Aston Fields (just up from Banners).
You are invited to come down and complete some quick swabs with DKMS, to find out if they are a match for Leo or another patient in urgent need of a stem cell transplant.
If you can't make the event on Sunday, you can request a swab kit from the first link below where you take 2 swabs inside your cheeks and one inside your inner lips. You then send it off with the enclosed pre-paid envelope and they will be analysed to see if you are a match for Leo or someone in need of a blood stem cell donation.
The whole process only takes a few minutes and could save a life.
