Our first date was a dog walk in Beckenham Place Park. Michele brought Lottie along. Lottie chased and leapt about on that walk, and I knew I was double lucky! Lottie later survived two major operations. She never made a fu
ss and just ‘got on with it’. Eventually working from home, I became Lottie’s ‘main carer’ as she got older and eventually slower. Lottie was almost 19 years old when she was put to sleep, and she was my little friend. I miss her every day! On that first date, Michele called Lottie ‘Little Legs’ and that is the name that I want to remember Lottie by, through my new dog walking business.
