Ralph the cocker spaniel, looking smart and ready for adventure 🐾✂️

His groom was kept short to suit his fun, busy lifestyle—with neatly shaped ears and a tidy top knot to keep him stylish while on the go.

Ralph also had his ultrasonic teeth cleaning today, which helps keep his teeth and gums healthy without any fuss.

This little cutie is Ruby, she comes to us every 8 weeks for her groom. Sticking to a regular schedule keeps her super relaxed in the salon.

Today’s trim was kept short to suit her fun, busy lifestyle and make it easier to maintain between visits.

She also had her ultrasonic teeth cleaning trial—and did brilliantly!

We started with a bath using our luxurious Lipa shampoo and conditioner, leaving her coat soft, hydrated, and smelling lovely.

Have you checked your dog for ticks lately? We have found quite a few on dogs in our salon this week alone 😨

As the weather warms up, ticks become more active—and they’re not just a nuisance. These tiny parasites can carry serious diseases like Lyme disease, which can affect both dogs and humans. Ticks are often found in grassy areas, woodlands, and even in parks or gardens, so even a short walk can pose a risk.

A tick bite can cause irritation, swelling, and in some cases lead to fatigue, lameness or fever. It’s important to check your dog’s coat regularly—especially around the ears, neck, and between the toes. If you find a tick, it should be removed safely using a proper tick remover to avoid leaving the head behind.

There are preventative treatments available to help protect your dog, so if you’re unsure what’s best, speak with your vet.

Let’s help keep our dogs safe — tick checks only take a moment, but they can make all the difference.
