IMPORTANT UPDATE! 🐾

So, it's finally come to the time where I have to make this post due to new adventures awaiting.

On September 1st, Wagging Westwood will be closed for business for the foreseeable future.
• Services will be carried out as usual until then.
• I will still take bookings for dates up until August 31st 2025.

For my regulars or holiday bookers, I'll be reaching out to you individually.

I'm so thankful for every single person who has used my services and trusted me with their stunning furry/not so furry family members. I'll forever remember and miss you all. You'll have a deserved place in my heart for life. I just know I'll be spending a huge amount of time reminiscing about all of those gorgeous faces, play times, walks and cuddles.🐾

This page will stay open however from September 1st it'll be more of a pet care information page.

It's an extremely bittersweet time.

Today before 10am, we got 2 calls from people asking if they could buy Easter bunnies for their grandkids.

We kindly explained that rabbits aren’t toys and why it’s really not a good idea. One hung up on us and the other responded with a sarcastic “Geez thanks a lot,” before hanging up on us.

So as we approach Easter, we feel it’s important to remind everyone that pets - bunnies specifically - aren’t gifts.

Here are some facts:

Cages are too small for them.

They can spray p*e.

Bunnies live 8-12 years.

They bite to deglove.

They are a separate species than cottontails and cannot live outdoors.

Bunnies are prey animals and typically do not like to be picked up or snuggled.

80% of unspayed females get uterine cancer.

They are considered exotic animals due to the care they require.

Buns p**p 200-300 times a day.

80% of their diet is hay, which doesn’t go well for people with allergies.

Bunnies make wonderful pets, but they're a lot more work than people expect.

Throwing it back to Summer now that we're all beginning to freeze!
I stayed with Patchy for a week and he turned out to be one of the most affectionate cats I've known. He's such a sweetie and also loved a belly rub- a huge win! 🐱
