Yesterday Immy had her regular physio treatment with having 3 legs and an existing back injury means she gets very tight in places with lots of compensations, so it's important to keep her as mobile and as comfortable as possible.
I often work closely with Claire with my client's dogs as often there are underlying issues contributing to difficulties with training and behaviour.
I see alot of client who's dogs have had a minor injury as a puppy that is signed off as all being well when there is now no longer a visible limp etc, causing problems much later in life. Often patterns of tension and compensation have started straight away due to the injury and can be so long standing that it's now 'normal' for that dog's gait or movement to be that way.
If your dog has an injury and appears fine, my advice is to see a physio just to make sure and getting your dog's seen throughout their life routinely regardless can help them remain comfortable and mobile into older age.
Tetley my other dog saw Claire several times as a puppy as he had some muscle tension and weakness which we were able to keep on top of.
