Good advice from The Groomers Spotlight

While we enjoy the spooky season, some Halloween surprises can be a little too scary (or even dangerous) for our furry friends. Here’s a few things to keep an eye out for:

🧛‍♂️ Costumes: Dressing up can be adorable, but only if your pet’s comfortable. Skip anything tight, restrictive or dangly - and if they seem unsure, a cute bandana works just as well!

🍬 Sweets & Chocolate: Chocolate and sugar-free sweets (especially those with xylitol) can be toxic to pets, so keep them well out of reach.

🚪 Visitors & Parties: All the knocks, costumes and noise can be overwhelming. Give your pet a quiet, cosy space to relax while the celebrations are in full swing.

🐶 Pet ID: With all the comings and goings, it’s a good time to check your pet’s microchip and tags are up to date. A reflective collar helps keep them visible if you’re out after dark.

A little prep means everyone can have a safe, happy Halloween! 👻
