We are Council licenced, insured, DBS checked and hold a K9 1st aid certificate. We promise to treat your furbaby like ours when they are with us � Happy Yappers pet care is where your pet lives as part of the family in our own home with no kennels! We offer 24 hour, holiday and day care for your pets with personal and one to one loving attention and exercise for your dog(s) according to your inst

ructions. Your dog(s) will sleep in the house, with their own bed, food and toys and not in kennels. Your dog(s) will be walked safely in our local park (a 2 minute walk away) and we also have access to 9 acres of privately owned grass and woodland within a 10 minute walk from our home. We will tailor the time and distance of walks to match as closely as possible to the amount of exercise your dog is used to. They will also have access to our large, secure garden. NO DOG TOO LARGE
Some home from home boarders specify that they only take small and medium sized dogs, as, of course, is their prerogative. So we thought we'd mention that we're happy to take the big ones; the gentle giants of the canine world and also some breeds that others might shy away from (we're happy with the little ones too!) As long as they are family friendly and good with older children then they are welcome in our home. INSPECTION VISITS
Before your dog(s) come to stay with us, we do like that you - and especially they pay us a visit to sniff us out. This give you the chance to see that everything meets your expectations and for us to better understand your dogs' individual needs and, most importantly, it allows your dog to familiarise themselves with us and our surrounding before they come to stay. These visits are always absolutely no-obligation. Happy Yappers are council accredited and insured. Bristol City Council licence number :

We have had the absolute pleasure of looking after these 3 hooligans over the last few months. I'm only just catching up on my posts and they have actually stayed 4 different times that I'm catching up on 🙈.
Layla, Darsey and Ronnie are just bluming lush and we love them all to bits ❤️🥰.

Awhh Mila is one of our regulars and we absolutely love her to bits. She is such a sweetheart ❤️.

Omg!!! I know that I said that I've not posted or updated my page recently and people asked if I was still boarding.
I've just gone through the diary and realised that I've not properly updated since August!!!!!. I've popped a few posts on, but they were all trying to catch up 🙈.
I get why people are asking now!
I'm glad that all my furbaby families get personal updates or they would sack me 🤣.
Shocking admin skills from me🙈🤦.
My 2026 resolution is to keep up with my page (but I know I won't 🤣) .

We had the very sad news that one of our favourite dogs has gained her wings😔.
Pigeon was an absolute legend and we loved her to bits. She nearly made it to the grand old age of 17.
We have had the absolute pleasure and privilege of looking after Pigeon and her beautiful sister Tango for many many years. Tango passed a few years ago which devastated us, but now Pidge has joined her over the bridge 😥.
We not only had a beautiful relationship with the girls, we had an amazing relationship which turn into a friendship with their lovely Mummy Lydia.
My heart is breaking for Lydia as her dogs were her world and I just can't imagine how she is feeling right now.
It's hard being a dog boarder as you get so attached to the dogs and also their owners which makes it hurt when you get the sad news.

We are sending all our love to Lydia, and thank you again for trusting us and letting us love your babies. 💙

I am a little embarrassed and a little ashamed 😞.
I've had a few new clients recently ask me if I'm still boarding because I've not posted for a while 🤦.
I've just looked back and realised that I've not updated my page on the dogs that I've looked after since October 😲.
I know that I have a very healthy client base and I updated everyone individually when their dogs are with me, but that's no excuse for me not to update my page.
Apologies everyone.
I'm getting on it in the next few days and expect a bomb of updates coming your way 😂 x

We have had the very sad news that Archie suddenly went over the rainbow bridge🌈.
He really was a special boy and we have had the absolute pleasure of looking after him for a long time.
We are so privileged that his lovely family trusted us to take care of him when they went away, and I hope that they know that we loved him to bits.
I'm heartbroken, but I can't even imagine how his family feel 💔.
I'm so thinking of you Kelly Mathias , Steve Mathias and Dan. He was a legend of a boy 💔
