Leading the Way in Pet Care - Dog walking Microchipping & Pet visits Louises Pets & Chips (est 2018) is based in Knowle Bristol serving the surrounding areas. I'm Louise.

We offer group & solo walks with an experienced dog walker, also
Pet Microchipping to most Bristol postcodes with a Secetary of State Implanter, Trainer/Assesor. I established Louise's Pets & Chips in 2018 becoming a the first Secetary of State mobile microchip implanter in Bristol, and later becoming a Dog walker, so I have lots of experience with dogs including walking many breeds of dogs in gr

oups and 1 to 1's. The safety of the dogs in my care is my top priority so I constantly monitor their body language, energy and anxiety levels , not only the dogs in my care, but those we meet so any unwanted behavior can be avoided and the dogs get an enjoyable, stress free walk. I use locations which are quieter so the dogs can play, sniff and investigate without being bothered by other dogs as much as possible.

99% of the dogs I walk are regulars so I get to know them and their owners well. I aim to be as flexible as possible, fitting in additional walks or changes to scheduled walks, as I understand that life can't always be predictable. I have owned dogs and other animals all my life including my cat Cleo, Rottweiler Zeus, Dogue De Bordeux Debo and currently my Cane Corso Chop & my rescue Bully Nami. I have many qualifications and experience with animals including a
Degree in Wildlife, and Conservation Science which is heavily based on Animal Behaviour
An Extented Diploma in Animal Management
I am a Secetary of State Trainer & Assessor in Pet Microchipping

Here is a list of the bank holiday dates for 2025 I will be working 🦮
I charge 25% extra per walk on bank holidays

If you’re walk day falls on a bank holiday and you wish to move to another day that week please let me know as I will have limited availability but will try my best 💕🦮

1 January – New Year’s Day - CLOSED
18 April – Good Friday - CLOSED
21 April – Easter Monday - CLOSED
5 May – Early May bank holiday
26 May – Spring bank holiday
25 August – Summer bank holiday

I know it’s a bit early to think of christmas but I’ve decided to get my holidays out early this year

I will be closing for Christmas
Friday 19th December till Monday 29th December

So will be working on Monday 29th, Tuesday 30th & Wednesday 31st

I will Then be off until the 5th January

First full week back will be Monday 5th January 2026

About Me

I am a fully qualified mobile Microchip implanter, and Secretary of state approved trainer/ assessor for Peddymark, registered with Animal Tracker and Petlog databases, covering the Bristol and surrounding areas. Microchipping dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets & other small mammals. Fully Insured, DBS checked and First aid trained in animals

I use the mid range chip from Peddymark, this covers all animals no matter of adult weight, it is the same diameter needle as the mini chip and the microchip is the size of a grain of rice. I use Animal Tracker database which comes with free basic account plus 4 weeks free insurance from Agria.

I have a Degree in Wildlife Conservation Science *which include animal behavior Extended Diploma in Animal Management *which include animal handling Veterinary Assistant Diploma
