Today I meet my dear friend Claire for the first time since Christmas 2019 when she drove a 50 mile round trip for me to bring my little darling angel Billy to me. After 4 years of joint ownership he never left again. After a fabulous first lockdown with many wonderful walks and cuddles. Billy’s health started to deteriorate and we finally had to put him to sleep at the end of October 2020 at just over 12 years old.
Today Claire gave me this beautiful Christmas bauble. I know it will be another 11 months until the next Christmas but it is already my favourite. Thank you Claire you have always been the best and most thoughtful friend.

Hurray!!!! Billy finished his marathon today. 28 walks in 14 days totalling 42 km. Billy has been doing so well with his poor legs, hip and back, dementia as well bad breathing problems. He raised money to help HollyHedge Animal Sanctuary with his great effort over the past few weeks. So proud of you my darling angel.
