Just to say that today is the day both sad and happy at the same time. When we close today we will retire. We will still be selling our food Raynestone Choice which will be available at the kennels and for next day delivery. Thankyou everybody for your support over the years and a very happy New year to everybody

After 20 years of looking after our customers dogs and cats Sonia and I have made the difficult decision to retire from the kennel on the 31st December 2024. From the 1st of January 2025 the kennel will be under the control of of Mr Barry Hutingson and his partner Gilly Evans both have a wealth of experience. All of our brilliant staff Keah, Nadine, Jay and Adrian will still be here and so your dogs and cats will remain in expert caring hands. We would like to thank all of our customers for your support and hope that you will continue to support the kennels. Sonia and I will continue to live on site and we look forward to seeing you for a chat. We will continue to sell the food both from the kennels and delivery so no change.

As the Summer has worn on we have got a little busier but still have space should you need it. Sonia's hanging baskets and tubs are looking wonderful. Next year she is making up hanging baskets and tubs to order, don't leave it too late.

We are ready and waiting to welcome your dogs and cats as soon as things open up for holidays. Our staff are ready and have the correct ppe to ensure theirs and your safety. Procedures are in play to ensure safe handover and collection.
Raynestone Gundogs has now recommenced training on a one to one basis for puppies through to adult dogs for gundog training or obedience. We are also taking dogs for residential training.
Raynestone Choice has been and is open for our fantastic food either picking up from here in a safe way or delivered to your door anywhere in the country.

Just to update our customers, the kennels are open and so should you need us to look after your dogs or cats if you become ill we are here for you and will pick up and drop off as safely as possible. We of course wish to comply with the government's instructions but recognise that customers will still need food from us. If you require food we can have it delivered to your door simply ring us on 01934862712 and we will ensure you get your dog or cat food. If you want to pick up yourself we will serve you but please excuse us for doing it in a way that protects both you and us. Please be sure we will continue to be here for all of our customers . We hope you all stay well.

Just to let all of our customers know that we have good stocks of our Raynestone Choice grain free and hypoallergenic dog food at the kennels, alternatively if you would like it delivered anywhere in the country just ring or email before 1.30pm any day and normally it will be delivered the following day.

Pet Passport


Important information on behalf of Defra

Defra has asked us to bring the following information to your attention:

To make sure pets are able to travel from the UK to the EU after Brexit, pet owners should contact their vet at least four months before travelling to get the latest advice. Those wishing to travel to the EU on or immediately after 31 October 2019 would need to discuss requirements with their vet by the end of June at the latest.

Breeders are advised to check the latest pet travel guidance to ensure you know how to prepare for travel with a pet in any scenario.

If the UK leaves the EU with no agreement in place and becomes an unlisted third country, health and documentation requirements will change under the EU Pet Travel Scheme. Pet owners would need to ensure that their pet has a microchip, an up-to-date rabies vaccination and a blood test to demonstrate sufficient levels of rabies antibody. The blood test needs to be carried out a minimum of 30 days after its last rabies vaccination (whether that’s a booster or initial vaccination) and a minimum of three calendar months before travel. A current EU pet passport issued in the UK would not be valid for travel to the EU. Instead, pet owners would need to apply for an Animal Health Certificate no more than 10 days before their date of travel.

Until the UK leaves the EU, pets can continue to travel to EU Member States under the current pet travel rules using the current EU pet passport.
