We have a vacancy for an apprentice groom.

Avon Riding Centre is looking for a 16 – 18 year old for a level 2 groom apprenticeship.
We are normally a busy Centre with an RDA group, non-ridden equine activities and a riding school, and we will be looking for someone with some previous equine knowledge, through having your own horse or helping out at a riding stable for example. We would also like you to take an interest in the therapeutic work we do with horses, both the RDA ridden work, and the non-ridden work with our herd of therapy ponies.
We work Tuesday to Saturday, 40 hours a week, and hours vary depending on whether there are evening lessons, and there will be an opportunity to study and develop through the BHS pathway.
