Do you live around BS16 and need someone to take care of your pets and your home whilst you’re away? At Pick of the Litter, I’ve got you covered!
My name is Georgie and I’m 25. I have a Bioveterinary Science degree, and a Masters in Wildlife Health. I have two years experience working as a Patient Care Assistant at Highcroft Veterinary Hospital in Whitchurch, plus Level 3 diplomas in Canine Behaviour, and Canine Nutrition. Is it obvious I love animals?!
The last two months I’ve thrown everything into pet sitting, however in November I’ll be working full time (Sun-Thurs) at Bath Cats and Dogs Home, joining their amazing team and making sure pets find their forever homes 🏡
I still want to pet sit because I genuinely love it, and when you’re doing something you love, it’s not work at all!!🥰 Whether it’s cat sitting, fussing and cleaning out rabbits / rats / guinea pigs etc, putting chickens to bed on an evening, giving pets medicine (including insulin), I’ve done it!🤍
So, what services will I offer?
I offer extended sits (around BS16). These are more tailored towards cats and small animals who are comfortable being left alone for longer periods. This is a more affordable option than hiring someone for 24/7 care, however you have the peace of mind knowing your pets and home are cared for overnignt.
I also offer once, or twice daily drop ins (dependent on location). To be totally transparent, morning drops may not last 30 minutes (Bristol traffic haha!) but your pets will definitely still get a lot of fuss!
I also offer sitting Fridays and Saturdays to all pets (including dogs woohoo!). This service is tailored for people who need irregular sitters, say you’re going out for the day / evening and can’t leave you’re anxious dog or puppy.
Please note, if we have already agreed on a sit and a price for November / December, nothing will be changing☺️
My calendar is now open until the end of March 2024! My availability is limited so please message me with any enquiries for a sit🤍🌸
