Leroy is recently neutered and looking for a new home with a lady or two.

He’s inquisitive and always likes to look at what his foster or other piggies are up to. He loves his food and will take salad from your hands.

A little bit fidgety when being handled but mainly because he thinks he’s missing out on something.

Meet the gorgeous Michael! He is a neutered “fuzzy haired” piggie around 18 months old. He is a real cutie. He mostly spends his time out and about, rarely does he hide away.

He is easy to pick up and will cuddle for a short time but is always keen to get back to his food! He loves his nuggets and will stretch to the top of his enclosure to take food from us. His favourite fresh food is parsley and mint and he gets very excited when offered dandelions (dried or fresh).

He popcorns when out in his run and interacting with a piggie neighbour. He will need plenty of things to chew on, he loves to nibble his tube and other toys and treats. He will be great company for a lucky lady out there.

Humphrey is a lovely tri-coloured fleecy boy, the leader of the two but slightly more cautious when nipping out to see what treats are coming. He loves his veg, especially cucumber and pepper, and is a very curious piggy.

Potato has a great personality. Even if he's a bit uncertain he'll pop out to see what food is on offer, always the first to scamper across when there's a pile of grass. He also loves zipping through tunnels.

Humphrey and Potato are 3yrs old.

Moose and Bean are a bonded male pair and will be turning 3 this year.

Moose is the dominant of the two and loves his food, always first in the fresh hay and to the veggies. He's happy for his long hair to be brushed.

Bean is the shyer of the two but loves a cuddle and a tickle under the chin.

Moose and Bean love each others company but do prefer their own sleeping quarters.

Alfie and Benny are two little one year old boys who are very inquisitive and adventurous. Benny (brown belt) is the leader and always first out to see who is coming, first to the food and first to popcorn on the clean fleece each day! Alfie still a little shy but happy to come over for treats.

As we head into 2026, we reflect on another busy year at Little Wheekers.

During 2025, we adopted over 150 piggies into their forever homes. We currently have 25 piggies in foster homes as well as 14 long term/permanent fosters and a long list of surrenders waiting to come in. Our long term fosters are a special part of the rescue - these piggies need a little bit more care, regular medication and frequent vet trips and will have the best 'retirement' possible within the rescue.

We are forever grateful for our team of volunteer fosters who give up their time to look after the piggies in their own homes.

Our biggest expense by far is vet fees, even after the support and discounted rates from our local vet partners. We paid out over £8,500 in vet fees in 2025 and will never refuse a surrender just because they might have a medical need.

As a self funded organisation we want to say a big thank you to all our supporters who have donated money or goodies over the year. And a special thank you to those who make a regular monthly donation.

Santa and his elves have been very busy this week - we've had this lovely box of goodies sent (but no name of sender attached) and a lovely card and box of goodies from our Amazon wishlist from santa's helpers Bombadil, Willow, Waterlily and Goldberry.

We are very grateful for all the support given.
