This is my big coat, my winter heavy duty waterproof - that I didn't wear at all last winter.
I was able to stay in a lighter waterproof the whole season through.

But here we are, this is June 2025. x

Even when I'm not working, I'm walking.

Back to work today after a week away on the isle of Anglesey.
It was a lovely break, tromped along to Southstack Lighthouse, wandered along a big sandy beach watching the RAF trainees taking off in cool jets and saw some seals as we mooched along another and also my favourite pebble beach.

It has however left me abit weak in the knees 😬 and I probably should have rested more than I did but hey ho, lighthouses, jets and seals aren't going to see themselves now are they!

I'll be resting up as much as I can at home after work and hopefully back to normal in a few days.

50pts to anyone that can spot the seals in the photo with two rocky land bars in it. X

Apologies the page has taken a back foot.
I'm not a massive social media person, I often find it hard to keep it updated and engaging.
Just know that until I say otherwise, I'm still here still walking, still visiting and still sitting - although that does looks different now with me covering long weekends only.
I will consider the odd longer sit, upto 7 days so no harm in asking, if I can help I will.

An early walk with his dad this morning and a garden break with me is plenty enough for a big guy on a hot day.

We managed 15mins outside, long enough to get his toiletting done and back into the cool of the lounge.

Be smart with your pets today;
Provide cool spaces 🏖️ Fresh water 💦
Limit the sunshine time 🌞 ❌
And don't walk in the high heat 👣🌡️

Be sensible and look after yourselves.

Well I think the grey weather will be matching alot of peoples feelings this morning after last nights results 😐
Mine included but less about the football and more about my holiday being over.
We had a good but busy week and I'd love to say I had an actual break but I did work a little and had messages ping in - think I need to get a business phone😅

I'll be catching up on messages the next couple of days and look forward to seeing some furry faces again.

I stopped walking Quinn a little while ago, so don't get to see him often but I popped in recently for cuppa and catch-up woth his family.

The reception I received absolutely delighted me, he was all happy whimpers and wiggles, I felt truly special.

I love this boy and I can't believe how grey he's gotten 😭
I hope not to leave it so long next time x

I popped in on this grumpuss while my sister took some holiday.
He's a funny onion, wants attention but also doesn't, loves crisps* - tried to shove his head in my packet of wotsits several times and like old man Xander, loves to drool on a jacket.

*He isn't fed crisps ever, we think he has a thing for them from his old life as a stray.

The Barnacle boy!

I spent a couple of weeks with this young man so his mum could take a much needed break.
We did the usual chills/ walks, we played, we cuddled but I think the best bit was teaching him how to exit the back door without biting it first😆
I have to say, he cottoned on very quickly.
Aside from losing him one afternoon (he'd gone for nap under a shrub) we had ourselves a pretty good sit. X
