Many of you have noticed we've been rather quiet on the social media front lately and those who have been in touch to book will know we stopped taking bookings a while ago now.

It's with a heavy heart that we've decided to close down Rockin' Reptiles. It's been a tough decision, but it's the right thing for our family at this point in time.

We are immensely proud of what we've achieved these past couple of years. The aim was always to educate and inspire and we hope we've done that.

There are too many highlights to list, but when we reflect back, it's been emotional! We've met the most amazing people along the way and we cannot thank you enough for the kindness and support.

Please continue to show your love and respect for these incredible animals and always give them the highest standards of care.

On that note, we do have a couple of animals for rehoming, so if you're currently on the lookout and think you can provide a loving home, give us a shout!

As a small family business, we rely on our amazing customers and followers to help keep us going. We're lucky to have grown organically through word of mouth and recommendation, so thank you!

After giving careful consideration to all of the entries, we are pleased to say that we have now chosen our winners!!!

We met brother and sister, Jack and Amelia, at an encounter earlier this year, and they are both huge reptile enthusiasts. They're thinking about getting a reptile of their own, and in a video message, they were keen to explain how they've been doing lots of research to identify the right species for them. This included coming up with a little budgeting plan! Impressive for an 11 and 9 year old! It's the sort of responsible behaviour we love to see, especially when it comes to caring for animals.

Congratulations, Jack and Amelia. We can't wait to welcome you for a look behind the scenes at Rockin' Reptiles.

A MASSIVE thank you once again to all of those that entered and as we said in our post earlier this week, it's been amazing to see that there are so many young reptile enthusiasts who want to get hands-on and learn, filling us with confidence that the next generation of reptile keepers are going to do so much for this wonderful hobby of ours.

Ahead of the announcement, it's worth noting that this was the worst idea we've ever had 🤣

We've had so many amazing entries, and picking a winner has been almost impossible. Why did we put ourselves in this position!? 😬

On the flipside, it's been brilliant to see that there are so many young reptile enthusiasts who want to get hands-on and learn. The next generation of reptile keepers really do have an opportunity to take this hobby to the next level and THAT is what it's all about....constantly looking to improve the standards by which we keep these incredible creatures.
