⭐ Look how well Cloud is getting on with LOOSE LEAD! ⭐

Cloud's mum asked me to help with some general training issues, such as loose lead walking and recall. Cloud would pull like a freight train on walks and found everything but mum interesting, leaving mum incredibly frustrated and at a loose end.

In just 1 hour, we achieved this 🥰

Now to make this the habit!

I absolutely ❤️ updates like this from clients!

Nova 🐻‍❄️ is a noisy gal! She barks at absolutely EVERYTHING and her owners contacted me to help silence her just a little bit to regain some sanity 😂

With some simple techniques, Nova is now able to spend time in the company of friends without noise complaints 🐶🎉

Some dogs are like fizzy bottles of pop!

(Stay with me here, it's my favourite analogy!)

A lack of stimulation or too much stimulation can effectively shake them up and leave them pressurised.

In these situations, if we remove the lid (for example, do something exciting like a walk) we see an uncontrollable explosion and mess!

However, if we open the lid slowly, pressure is released without spill . . .

This is where the flirt pole comes in!

10 minutes of controlled play in a dog that is overflowing with excitement can just take the edge off enough to gain some control.

Enzo finds car rides stressful, so here we have some positive conditioning to the boot of the car 🚗

Slowing things down, breaking tasks down and including some yummy things really does help dogs process stressful situations much better. With daily practice we aim to see Enzo cope much better during car journeys ❤️🐶

Some ad-hoc training with Gaia.

Gaia is currently doing sessions for Agility. I'm not an agility instructor, but the tricks I discuss in these videos are fantastic for stretching/muscle building, coordination and brain work.

Reasons to teach this to your dog:
🐶 It's fun!
🐶 Training anything builds a stronger bond between you and your dog.
🐶 Helps build coordination.
🐶 Helps stretch and build muscle they wouldn't normally use.
🐶 Teaching basic tricks can build a starting point to a more complicated behaviour.
