🧑‍💻 Admin volunteer needed to support our & Branch Team Leader

We’re looking for a friendly, organised volunteer to help our committee set up simple, effective systems to support several exciting local initiatives. You’ll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly – from helping us organise information and streamline processes, to making sure our team has what they need to succeed.

Our administration volunteers usually spend 2 to 3 hours per week in this role, which is flexible and can be shared by more than one volunteer if needed.

🐱 Garfield is our cat of the month he is a sweet but shy boy who likes to take his time to get to know you.

🏡 We’d like to find him a calm home with a big garden where he can explore safely —ideally in the countryside or on a quiet farm, away from busy roads.

⚖ He’s a bit on the chubby side, so he’ll need some help with a gentle diet to get back to a healthy weight.

🌼 With patience, care, and a peaceful space, Garfield will blossom into a happy, affectionate companion who enjoys both company and quiet adventures.

Help Us Feed Mums & Kittens in Need!

Our Cats Protection Brighton & Hove - Supporting Cat Owners Team is currently helping families who are struggling to care for their beloved cats. Right now, we’re seeing more and more cases where owners are overwhelmed — due to lack of time, money, space, or challenges like too many cats or behavioural issues.

Among these are mums and their kittens — tiny lives just starting out — who we desperately want to support while they wait for a space in our care. Though we can’t take them all in just yet, we can help them stay safe and nourished where they are.

👉 That’s where you come in.
We’re appealing for donations of kitten food — both for the little ones and their hardworking mums who are still feeding them. We’ve listed urgently needed items on our Supporting Cat Owners Wish List.

This is the very lovely, Willow. A female torby who is ready and waiting for her forever home. She is approximately 1 year and 7 months old, though we can't be certain.

She is from a busy multi-cat household, having had at least two litters of kittens in quick succession. This sweet young lady is now more than ready for a well-deserved break and a peaceful home.
