Update from our Shoreham Branch.
***URGENT POST****
FURTHER UPDATE 15.03.25:AS OF THIS MORNING WE REMAIN WITHOUT COMPUTERS WHICH IS, OF COURSE, LESS THAN IDEAL. WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE THROUGH THIS TRICKY PERIOD AND ASK THAT YOU PLEASE EXTEND KINDNESS TO OUR TEAM WHO ARE WORKING IN VERY DIFFICULT CIRCUMSTANCES TO ENSURE THEY CAN HELP YOU. WE WILL UPDATE FURTHER ON MONDAY.
To inform all clients that our computer system has been down since we opened at 8am this morning. An engineer is en route to try and fix the problem at our sister branch but we have no clear time scale in which the problem will be fixed. Please could we ask anyone with non urgent enquiries to call tomorrow, but but anyone with calls of an urgent nature please continue to contact us in branch on 01273 454040. We will update this post as we know more.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

After four incredible years at Coastwayvets Portslade, the time has come for two of our colleagues to say goodbye and embark on new journeys. Elena and Quinton both started around the same time; Elena has been our senior vet while Quinton moved between both Portsladeโ€™s clinic and the Brighton hospital.

Elena said โ€œI am truly grateful for the friendships Iโ€™ve formed, the knowledge Iโ€™ve shared, and the many laughs we've had along the way. Every challenge we faced together and every success we celebrated will stay with us foreverโ€

Quinton said โ€œThank you for the trust, the guidance, and the camaraderie. I will miss being a part of this and all the other amazing teams I have been apart of. I will miss the clients and furry friends so very much. I am especially thankful to all our clients who over the years have supported one of CWโ€™s chosen charities in Thailand. Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary is so very close to my heart and without your support Elena and I could not have gone out there earlier this yearโ€

We will miss them but wish them well.

Temporary Closure Due to Covid-19

We are closed temporarily due to government advice concerning social distancing to limit the spread of Covid-19 and guidance from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). Our Shoreham, Brighton and Telscombe surgeries are still open and are seeing emergency cases. If you need an appointment, call Shoreham on 01273 454040, Brighton on 01273 692257 and Telscombe on 01273 582266. If you need help with repeat prescriptions, email us at [email protected] with your name, petโ€™s name and the drugs needed. Please be aware that it may take us longer than usual to get medicines delivered, so contact us as soon as youโ€™re able if you do need more medicine. If you are a Pet Care Plan member and are due parasite control, call our Brighton head office on 01273 692257 and they will organise for these to be posted to you.

We apologise for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause, but would like to reassure you that our colleagues will provide any help and advice needed to keep your pet well and healthy. We hope to see you again very soon.

Your Coastway Portslade Team.
