Before and after photo's of the groom room make over. We've still not 100% finished, got some more decor for the walls to get, a new door to add and some other small bits but its 100x better than before.

Also starting other house renovations in the next few months, the hallway, bannister and stairs (thank God!) And also the living room which is currently stripped and awaiting to be plastered.

I just can't wait to not feel embarrassed about the way my house looks 🙈

(For context, we bought the house around 3.5 years ago from a family of an elderly woman who passed, the house hadn't been redecorated since I imagine 60/70's- it didn't even have central heating) So we started upstairs first on the bedrooms and adding a new boiler etc, then put it all on hold whilst we were planning the wedding, now its full steam ahead whilst working around our jobs and the kids to try crack on the best we can with the house renovations. Its slow but we will get there ☺️)

I know I've been a little quiet posting lately, truth is we've been SO busy behind the scenes, we are currently in the midst of giving the groom room a well needed make over. It's coming together nicely and hopefully will be completed by the end of the month, just waiting on the final touches ☺️

My furry friends, nothing makes me happier than to see my dog friends run and greet me like we are besties 🥹

Made a few new furry friends this month also (..I may have forgotten to take their selfies 😬🙈) as the months go on I've been taking less new clients due to being booked up fast. I'm currently now booked up until May- with only a few slots available for baths and lighter grooms- unless I get reschedules/cancellations.

For those returning clients, I HIGHLY recommend block booking in for the next few months/year to secure those appointments as I currently only dog groom part time and therefore have limited spaces available.

I'm so bad for forgetting to take/post before and after photo's, I even gave myself a New Years resolution to post more...we are nearly 2 weeks into the year and I've failed that already 😂🙈

I am now fully booked up this month, and with very limited space next month also. I am now taking bookings for March and April, for new and existing clients.

🐾Please note I will be taking February half term- Monday 16th February- Sunday 22nd February off with it being my birthday week and also Friday 3rd April- Sunday 12th April off for the Easter period.🐾

If you would like to book in, please don't hesitate to message me. I also highly recommend block booking your grooming appointments- I only groom part time so my availability is limited and therefore fill up rather fast. 🐾☺️

🐾 Important Update – Price Adjustment 🐾

From 5th January, there will be a small price increase across some of the grooming services, ranging between £2–£5.

This change helps us continue to cover rising costs while maintaining the high standard of care, products, and one-to-one attention that your dogs receive here at Prim & Poocher ☺️

I truly appreciate your ongoing support and understanding, and remain committed to giving your pooches the best grooming experience possible.

2025, what can I say! 🥳
This year has been incredible! From setting up my own dog grooming business to getting Married, juggling 2 jobs, school runs, childcare, housework, whilst also trying to be a present parent to the kids and to capture my toddlers "firsts", it truly has been the most chaotic, rewarding and memorable year of my life!
I want to say a massive thank you to those who have supported my small but ever-growing business. I have met so many incredible clients and of course so many fantastic dogs over the year.
I am so, so excited to see what the New Year brings for Prim & Poocher and also my family.

I'll leave you with this photo of Adam and I and our two dogs- Trixie (who is having none of it) and Willow (Who looks like she's being held at ransom.) In the effort of this photo, it involved dog treats, screaming kids in the background and two dogs who just wouldn't co-operate- which I think sums up my life perfectly 😂
