FREE DIY LIVERY ON SMALL PRIVATE YARD EAST HUNTSPILL

One free livery space has come available on our small private yard in East Huntspill.This is offered in return for the following:

Help with two sports horses, including:
Turn out, bring in
Rug up as required
Feed
General care and oversight

The free livery space will include:
Spacious stable
All year turn out in separate paddock and/or all weather turn out area
Secure tack area
Own feed and rug area
Use of 60m x 20m arena
Use of full set of jumps
Hard standing parking for a small lorry or trailer
Potential of lessons with two resident BHS qualified instructors

Conditions:
No children allowed on the yard
All areas must be kept clean and tidy at all times
Poo picking to be done ideally daily, minimum twice a week
A well behaved sociable dog will be allowed

Applicants must have the following please:
Be over the age of 18
Have experience in and confidence with dealing with fit sports horses in all weathers and conditions
A good working knowledge of horse ailments and how to spot horse health danger signs
Be flexible and willing to work as part of the yard team to ensure all horses basic needs are cared for

Hi, I am looking for someone to look after my two horses for an hour or so in the afternoon Monday to Friday please. Tasks will include bringing in from the field, grooming off, rugging up and feeding. Occasionally mucking out will also be required, as will poo picking.
Experience of handling competition horses preferred, rate of pay negotiable dependant upon experience.
Small very friendly private yard, location East Huntspill, start date immediate.

Hi everyone! We have a vacancy for someone to cover Sundays, if anyone out there is interested or knows someone who might be..? Well, a year ago today I discovered my mare had gastric ulcers, after coming off her in a nasty fall that left me with a damaged coccyx, broken thumb and suspected fractured cheek bone. I learnt then to never ignore signs of "girthiness" in a horse!!
