From 6am on 1st November 2024 until 6am on 6th November, Sky will be broadcasting a special fireworks channel for dogs on 310. There will be a rolling cycle of 21 different movies that have been chosen because they have a calming effect on dogs and their owners. These include Barbie, the Bridget Jones trilogy, E.T. and Shrek 1, because according to the broadcaster any movies that keep owners calm and entertained will help their dogs as well.

Unfortunately I have had to increase my prices by 20% ( if current price is under £35 ) or a £5 increase for anyone already paying this or over , this is to bring in line the cost of the outgoing utility bills for the salon. As you will be aware I never really increase my prices and when I do I always try to keep them as low as possible, as I have to increase slightly higher this year to cover costs my aim is to not increase prices next year hopefully, however I need to bring them up to date now along with outgoing running costs that have all gone up equally by this amount or more. I also am very sorry but I am going to have to charge my cancellation policy ( I’m a bit of a soft touch and I haven’t been doing this but unfortunately no shows or late cancellations have a massive impact on my small business , I do require 48 hours notice or the full payment is still due as I then am not able to fill the spot. I hope you all understand and once again I thank you all for the continued support xx Nikki

Battersea joins the nation in mourning the loss of Paul O’Grady - an entertainment legend and much-loved Ambassador to our charity. We’d like to extend our deepest sympathies to Paul’s family and friends. To millions Paul O’Grady is the popular TV and radio presenter and comedian who lit up their screens with his razor-sharp humour and perpetual generosity and warmth. Battersea will forever remember Paul as a devoted animal lover with the biggest heart, who fell in love with every dog he met at our centres. Paul will always be associated with Battersea, and we are truly saddened to have lost such a true friend and huge part of our charity.

Christmas has arrived ,scissors packed away for 2022, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my wonderful clients a very special one , Thankyou to all my long standing clients for supporting my small business after all these years I’m very honoured. Sending my love to my friends all the pups , it’s a time of year we also think of everyone we have lost and my thoughts are also with the pups I was lucky enough to have met and loved , once again Thankyou all for trusting me with you’re baby’s and Happy Christmas and New year to you all ###

I’m switching off social media until the 03/01/2023 to spend time with my family so messages and calls will be returned on the 3rd ###
