With less than 6 weeks of the 2026 season remaining, there are a few beautiful LeafyGreen plants who are now looking for their forever gardens. 🏡🌱

So, over the coming days, I’ll be introducing some of the plants that are ready to leave the nursery and start their next chapter with you.

There may be some absolute bargains involved… 👀💷

And there may be some plants that are very much giving:

The heatwave has finally stopped trying to turn us all into sun-dried tomatoes, which means the LeafyGreen Micro Shop can reopen! 🙌🌱

🌿✨ Next stop for LeafyGreen… Taunton’s Vintage & Salvage Fair! ✨🌿

If you want your garden to stand out from the crowd, this is the place to be. 👀

Forget “ooh, that’s nice”… this is where you find the “WHAT on earth is that and where can I get one?” kind of garden treasures. 😍

Vintage curiosities, salvage, quirky finds and unusual garden-related pieces to give your outdoor space a bit of personality, history and “I definitely planned that” energy.

And, of course, once you’ve found the perfect unusual object to become the star of your garden… LeafyGreen and other plant sellers will be there to help you complete the look with the plants. 🌱

🌿 LeafyGreen’s next stop… Friends of St Joseph’s Summer Fête! 🌿

This one is a little bit special for me because St Joseph’s is the school where my children were educated. So, although I may be arriving with a van full of beautiful plants, I’ll also be arriving with a fair few memories! 💚

This Saturday, 18th July from 12–4pm, I’ll be at St Joseph’s School Field on Park Avenue, alongside lots of other stalls, food, drink and entertainment.

There’ll be a BBQ, raffle, school talent show, group displays, car boot, food, drink and BIG TALENT 🎤🎶 — so plenty to keep the whole family entertained!

And, of course, I’ll be bringing beautiful plants for all those brilliant local gardeners who need just one more… 😉🌿

Come along, enjoy the fun, support the school and perhaps take a little piece of LeafyGreen home with you.

I’d love to see some familiar faces there — especially those who remember my children from their St Joseph’s days! 💚

🌿 LeafyGreen’s next stop… Cannington Primary School Summer Fayre! 🌿

This Friday from 3:30pm, you’ll find me surrounded by beautiful plants and (hopefully!) lots of fellow plant lovers at Cannington Primary School.

I’ve always said that Cannington has some of the best gardeners around, so I’d better bring my A-game… thankfully I’ve got a van full of gorgeous plants ready to impress! 🌸🌿

Even better, every penny raised by the Summer Fayre helps provide valuable resources for the children at the school, so by coming along you’re supporting a fantastic local cause while treating yourself to a new plant (that’s what I call a win-win! 😉).

There’ll be games, crafts, food, a raffle, a colour run and plenty more to enjoy, so make an afternoon of it and come and say hello.

💚 I’d love to see lots of familiar faces… and maybe tempt a few new ones home with a plant or two!

💚 Remembering Amy 💚

Today would have been my darling baby sister Amy’s birthday.

Amy was one half of the inspiration behind LeafyGreen Micro Nursery. When she died from cancer in 2023, aged just 49, our plans for the nursery almost ended with her. Thanks to the love and encouragement of family and friends, I carried on—and this little nursery has become the therapy my broken heart never knew it needed.

I know Amy would’ve loved every minute of it.

Today, as I remember her, I also want to share something close to my heart. In 2027, we’ll be hopefully opening the LeafyGreen Nursery Garden to the public on or around Amy’s birthday as part of the Glorious Gardens campaign, raising money for St Margaret’s Hospice Care.

The wonderful team at St Margaret’s supported Amy and all of us through the darkest days. This is our way of saying thank you and helping other families receive the same compassionate care.

Amy would’ve been absolutely tickled pink to know her memory could help others.

We’ll share dates nearer the time, but we’d love your support. Whether you come along, make a donation or simply share our event, every bit of support will mean the world and help us raise as much as we can.

Happy heavenly birthday, Ames. Your love grows here, always. 🌿💚
