**The issue has now been resolved**

We have been made aware that there is an issue with our phone lines and people aren’t being diverted to our out of hours provider. We are doing all we can to fix this. Veterinary Team! 🎄

With the festive season in full swing, we’re seeing lots of delicious treats being shared around the home — including mince pies!

We’d just like to gently remind everyone that traditional mince pies for humans are not safe for dogs. They often contain raisins, sultanas, currants, and sometimes alcohol — all of which can be toxic to our furry friends. Even small amounts can cause serious illness.

However, we know many of you love to include your pups in the celebrations, and some pet-friendly bakeries and brands have created dog-safe “mince pie” treats. These specially made versions do not contain harmful ingredients and are formulated so dogs can enjoy a festive nibble safely.

✨ If you’ve bought or baked dog-specific mince pies, those are absolutely fine — just double-check the ingredients.
⚠️ But please keep all regular mince pies well out of reach!

If your dog does manage to sneak a human mince pie (they do love a challenge!), please give us a call straight away for advice.

We appreciate that like many businesses in High Town we aren’t blessed with lots of parking spaces and that sometimes our car park can be busy. We would however ask clients to be aware that we share the car park with other businesses and therefore please only park in Bridgnorth Veterinary Centre allocated spaces.
