After a lot of thought, I wanted to share an important update about my business 🐾

I’ll be closing the dog walking side of my services as I take on an exciting new challenge—becoming a Teaching Assistant. While I’m really looking forward to this next chapter, it does mean stepping away from something I’ve truly loved.

I just want to say a huge thank you to all my wonderful clients—past and present—for trusting me with your dogs. It’s been an absolute privilege to spend time with them, get to know their personalities, and be part of their daily routines. I’ll genuinely miss all the wagging tails, muddy paws, and happy walks!

Your support has meant so much to me, and I’m incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.

We want the government to review and strengthen legislation and licensing requirements for dog daycare, boarding, walking, and training services. Promote responsible business practices and provide dog owners with the reassurance that anyone caring for their pet meets the highest welfare standards.

Saturdays are bring your dog to work days!

Rocket loves to come and joins me on walks but it’s not always doable in the week but it doesn’t stop us on the weekend.

Rocket has enjoyed some time away from his sister this morning and has been making friends with the not so little baby. I think they approve of each other 😍

🐾 Why a Dog Walk Costs £16 🐾

I wanted to take a moment to explain how my pricing works and why a 45–60 minute dog walk costs £16.

That £16 doesn’t just cover my time walking your dog — it also goes toward:

🚗 Fuel for pick-ups and drop-offs
🦴 Treats and poo bags
🚐 Wear and tear on my van
🧾 Insurance (both public liability and van)
💷 Road tax and other running costs

When all of these expenses are factored in, I actually earn less than minimum wage for the time I spend caring for your dogs — and that’s before any admin, cleaning, or scheduling time!

So is £16 really too much for up to an hour of exercise, enrichment, and love for your dog — plus the peace of mind that they’re in safe, insured hands? ❤️

I’m passionate about what I do, and I always strive to provide the best care possible — but I also want to be open about the realities behind the price.
