We are also this year attending a Fundraising event where we will have a stall.

Items such as new & unused gift sets, animal related products, beauty products, gift vouchers etc seem to be popular on our fundraisers so we are always on the hunt for new items to auction/raffle or sell to raise funds to go towards the dogs in rescue. 100% of the money raised helps pay for food, vets, worming, Flea treatment, transport costs etc. The more funds we have, the more dogs we can save 🥹

Our rescue is run by volunteers. We have no paid staff. Our volunteers run the rescue in their spare time and for nothing in return, except the love of dogs 🐕

✨️ Urgent child & pet free foster home needed

Everybody will know Poppy already from the previous posts we have made regarding her Pyometra surgery.

Poppy is a 4 year old, Dogue De Bordeaux and she really needs a loving foster home to help with her recovery.

Due to how poorly Poppy has been we are looking for a quiet, pet & child free home with a large breed experienced owner who has the time and love to help Poppy make a full recovery. A homecheck and ID checks will be required.

We provide transport nationwide for all dogs in our care so your location is not relevant if you pass our homecheck.

Yesterday we had a great response to Daisy needing a foster home and we are pleased to say she is now settling into a new foster as we speak.

We are now requiring a foster or foster view to adoption for Tala.

Tala is a sweet sweet pup of only 8 months but she sadly is very anxious around men.
She is noticeably more relaxed in a home with only females.
She also needs dog company as this gives her confidence.

‼️PLEA TO ALL FOLLOWERS‼️
We know lately most of our posts have been begging for money 💰 and it really is not our ideal world but sadly it is our reality 😢

We, as are all rescues, are on our knees and at breaking point, again!

We have over 22,000 followers (we are so grateful to have such an amazing community). If all our followers set up a direct debit/standing order of just £1 per month, that would mean donations of over £22,000 a month. This amount of money would mean Last Hope Rescue can keep our doors open and help more dogs 🐕 as well as covering the regular vet and food bills we have for our current dogs. We have several dogs on lifetime foster which means we have to buy the food each month and cover vet visits etc.

With our current donations, this isn't sustainable for us 😔 We have some amazing regular donors who we appreciate with all our hearts and it's always the same supporters who donate when we post begging ❤️

If everyone donated £1 pm as above, this would help spread the load, without impacting on anybody's bank balance.

The team here on a personal level are the same as everybody, struggling in this financial crisis our country finds itself in so we totally appreciate that everyone is on hard times and we really hate asking for donations.

Jerry is contemplating whether today will be the day someone applies to adopt him 🙏

🐾 21 weeks old
🐾 Male cross breed
🐾 Child friendly
🐾 Dog friendly
🐾 Could live with cats with slow intros and proper supervision
🐾 Location Somerset but can be rehomed nationwide (transport can be provided)
🐾 Chipped and vaccinated

Jerry was rescued off the streets in Bulgaria and has made himself very comfortable here at Last Hope HQ. We are very attached to him but he deserves a home of his own 🏡

He is such an easy dog 🐕 He will make someone a wonderful companion and family dog.

His Brucella test was negative so he has the all clear to be rehomed now and will be able to be registered with a UK vet.

Jerry it's a typical puppy 🐶 who loves everyone and everything. He does love a zoomie 🤗

Looking for creative geniuses 😀

Hi all - I am a volunteer here at Last Hope Rescue and I will be having a stall at next year's Bullie Bash to help raise funds for the rescue.

I am paying to attend the event out of my own pocket as the rescue doesn't have funds to cover our fundraising activities.

I would really like to have a Last Hope Rescue banner and leaflets or business cards to hand out at the event. Do we have any followers who are good at designing such items and access to a printer, who would be willing to provide these for us?

I will also be looking for new items to sell or raffle on the stall, with 100% of the money raised, going to the rescue 🐕 So if anybody has any items they could donate, please let me know 🙏

If anybody is planning on attending the event, please drop by the stall and say hello 👋 It will be amazing to meet some of our supporters. It's totally dog friendly so if I get to cuddle some pooches, even better 😁

Calling all cat lovers 🥰❤️

Stella is 2 years old and has come to us from a home. She wasn’t getting on with the older cat she lived with so her owner made the difficult decision to part with her. She’s struggling a LOT being at the rescue because all she wants is human company and affectionate. As soon as you go into her kennel, she jumps up onto your lap or your shoulder straight away and purrs like there’s no tomorrow. She is besotted with everyone she meets and she’s such a confident lady! Our hearts are all breaking for her because we can hear her meowing, calling out for us when nobody is with her, and it’s soul destroying. We are desperate to find a loving home for her as soon as possible so she can go back to receiving endless amounts of cuddles. She’ll need to be the only cat in her new home, but she can be homed with sensible children. Please, please, please don’t keep her waiting much longer 🥺💔
