Well we’ve made it to chard late last night. One more horse arriving this morning and we’ll be settled. Busy (hopefully fun) long weekend ahead.

We are off site for the weekend so any non emergency messages etc will be answered once home Monday as this is my (busman’s) holiday 😄

Thanks as always to everyone at home looking after the yard, Leo’s working like a trooper, we’ll have him trained up in no time 😄 and Pawfect Sitting South Wales always around to help ❤️

🐴😃 Our first of 2026 kids day camps 😃🐴

‼️ two spaces left ‼️

📆July 31st 📆

Will include all snacks, lunch and drinks available all day for the children.

💥Flat lesson
💥Jump lesson
💥Learn to walk the course with Cole and a clear round session
💥A demonstration or talk
💥Stable management and/or horse care session
💥Fun & games

Children welcomed if coming on their own to make new friends, or bring your horsey friends along to ride together.

Food available to pre order for parents who are staying. Refreshments available throughout the day.

Slots are very limited so it is first come, first served. Payment on booking only to reserve your space. Non refundable unless your space is filled.

£45per child/pony

Children must be capable of tacking up/untacking and being responsible for their pony if being dropped off for the day, help will be available but not 1:1.

Possibility of day stable availability if no trailer/lorry available to ponies being left.

We will have another camp in July and August with a possible stay over/two day option 😃🏕️🍔🌭 keep an eye out.

How are your other 4 legged friends coping in this heat? ☀️☀️

As well as the horses routines changing the dogs have too, out early and late for exercise, Tank doesn’t like the fact he’s not allowed out all day with me, but he’s inside with fans and he’s pinched my neck fan 😆 and all doors are open to have access to where he finds it Moses comfortable which seems to be the hallway tiles. They’ve got sprinkler set up (which tank is scared of 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️) and water bowls everywhere, Bodi the Jack has decided he very much likes a fruit pastel ice lolly, Tank preferred ice cubes in his water and crunching them.

The one thing not changing is their gut health from Maximum Animal Health - Equine (I can’t tag the dog page!?) Iv found this helps Tanks bloat and overall condition, I also believe it keeps them balanced in the gut to manage daily and occasional upsets like heat waves.

With the weather heating up, then back to wind and rain, it’s honestly a nightmare sometimes with the horses. I’d be lost without Maximum Animal Health - Equine gut health keeping their gut settled and in this heat wave Iv started the muscle recovery a few days ago and will add until weather cools down a bit for a few days.

Our routines have changed to out at night in at day, regularly hosed off, riding super early or late if cooled enough.

Genuinely love these products and think they help keep our herd balanced throughout anything.

Our other go too’s are joint health and the Vitamin E oil Iv noticed a big difference with, especially the one competition horse, we lack good grazing so it made sense to help supplement the nutrients they lack.

Mandi’s gorgeous Draco has been with us a couple of weeks now building up fitness after a while off. He’s been a pleasure to get back under saddle and thoroughly enjoyed his first outing in a while. Beautifully ridden by Cole
