The heat wave we have been hearing about will apparently be here this week. While some of us may be super excited. Its not always enjoyable for our fluffers.

The Met Office temperature predictions are as follows:
🌡Monday-22°c
🌡Tuesday - 21°c
🌡Wednesday - 22°c
🌡Thursday - 24°c!!!
🌡Friday - 20°c

Next week, I will be taking safety precautions for the dogs. Which will be :
☆shorter walks
☆walks will be in shade and near water.
☆ I will have a cool bag available with cool drinking water.
☆ All crates will have cold damp towels on the floors for the dogs to rest on.
☆first aid bag as always will be on hand should it be needed.

If anyone feels, they would prefer a home visit for their fluffer to get out for the toilet and water refreshed, etc, rather than a walk. Please let me know and I will of course accommodate that.

Please remember to take your own precautions in the home, especially if you won't be in.
☆shut blinds/curtains
☆make sure extra drinking water is available
☆make use of cool mats/jackets/bandanas
☆a damp towel on the kitchen floor or an appropriate surface for the dog to lie on.

I hope this is all OK for everyone. Heat is no joke when you have a fur coat. I want all dogs to be safe when out with me. It would be a nightmare for something to happen to any of my furry clients.
